Main quest glitch

I'm working on "seek assisstances" on the part where it says defeat rick the guard.

It takes me to stairs before for so reason it doesnt lead me to the next area.

Can this be fix somehow or maybe reset my main quest line for this part. Kinda stuck until this is resolved.
