Right so they are changing GWF so its only going to be 5 level 3 cities 3 level 4 and 1 of every other level for THE ENTIRE SERVER (except servers 1-10 thank god) So there you go now you can have more competition. NOT! Now people who can afford to will all go to one realm and be in one guild and have every city in 1 guild in 1 realm and there will be less competition, rewards etc for the entire server.
So this so called attempt, to make things more fun and competitive is actually going to ruin the game more. If you want to make it more competitive reduce the cost of realm changes to say 50 gems. That is reasonable for even no coiners to achieve. You can earn 10 almost every day. SO in 5 days or so you can realm change.
want to make it even more competitive add a weekend event of realm warfare, where there are special cities realms can fight for that add a special buff for the entire realm.
The new GWF will only make things less competitive.
Make it easier to change realms so people can move and make other realms competitive. Say a realm where 1 guild is dominating. But another guild just need 4 or 5 good players to realm change and join their guild to be competitive against the dominate guild. This was the case i had in dark realm on server 1. Only needed a few good players to move to dark realm. But none of them could afford the 150 gems to change realms. If the cost was lower say 25-50 gems i may have gotten a few to move. and dark realm on server 1 would be totally different now. It is the high cost of realm changing that makes GWF less competitive. Not the way it was designed. Don't implement the patch on the 18th
Instead reduce the cost to jump realms Give that 30 days and see how things change. I bet there will start to me competition in the GWF in realms that have 1 guild dominating it all.

There is no growth potential. With the exponential growth of the top players the lower players that are not on the top two Guilds will never be able to put a Guild together that can challenge either of the two top ones. When the top two Guilds reach Level 4 they will get the best 20 players that are not in either Guild and that makes the problem even worse. This will be a two Guild realm forever unless changes are made.Quote:
There is another problem with Guilds. For all practical purposes in my realm there are only two Guilds. The first active player in the rankings that is not in one of the two is ranked 247, 132k power level 36. Both Guilds are level 3 and in cool-down for level 4. There is another level 3 Guild, but all their strong players went to one of the two top Guild or switched realms so they are not a factor. Of the other Guilds there are two Level 2 and the rest are Level 1.
This means that a Guild will only be facing one attack on their cities. Also, since there are no strong players left to form the nucleus of a Guild, this situation is not going to change.
I didn't say I ever supported the new changes. This thread is just pointing out that there isn't much competition per server, period. I beat the same 15-20 people everyday and lose to the same 5-10 people everyday. Then at night we beat the same guild. Every. Single. Day. (28 days straight tonight)
Then dave why don't you set the record straight and explain how many cities servers 11 and up will have and why servers 1-10 are being excluded form this change
Yea... Mystics has been #3 for a while, but our ViceHost left left for the #1 guild, and a lot of others did too, because our former host was inactive for two weeks... T.T And now, the server is full, so there are no newbies or guildless people, and there is an excessive amount of inactive players/guilds.
I think dominating guild should only be challenged by one guild at a time per day.. so we can keep them all forever... lmao.... stay away.
