Ok we were wondering alot about this before. In beta there was a nice chance of landing a crit or dodging baal/cerb. Since live is here its almost impossible to do any of these? Anyone got a feedback on this?

In beta I did dodge/crit quite often. Haven't been lucky enough to get either in live if you can...
crit him often ?? ive never crit him and i have 2 heroes with crit runes :(
You need more than 100 crit
I have 124 critical and I've never got a critical cerb or baal since live started.
I think in Beta the dodge and crit didn't happen until the Power upgrade to 250M - that is when it started
Realm Bosses currently have very high bonuses to resilience and hit chance. My understanding is that its not possible to critically hit them, nor to dodge them. There has been some discussion on changing this, and if its changed, we'll let you know in the patch notes. :)
why cant we crit , you reward people who get shayd and cianna with stuning on him , shayd even doing it multiple times , and calvin will breaker on him . Then dont reward people who obtain and level crit !
Everyone should take note of the power of Baal/Cerberus.
What was it on beta when you were getting crits/dodges?
What is it on your live server?
These aren't questions for you to answer back, just something to help y'all think about it in a slightly different way ;)
and they allow players who are lucky enough to get shayd/cianna to stun the boss , and shayd can stun multiple times , while giving people who got crit , no benefit
it might not be possible to crit the bosses, but it is possible to stun them and take away their morale with the right heroes. it's about learning what does work in a game, not complaining about what doesn't. I guarantee that I do better with two stunning heroes and one who does will breaker than anyone would just getting the occasional crit. The top people in our realm spent a ton of money to have over 2 million to 3 million power each versus my 900k, and yet my little non-casher self who happened to luck into the right combo of heroes is always right there in the top three, usually fighting them for first and second place in damage.
Stop complaining about what doesn't work, and go figure out what does for you, and you'll be much better off.
Ya, I'm kinda lucky they're all in my guild and actually like me, or they'd probably be really mad to see me up there every boss when everyone knows I haven't spent a cent.
I didn't even play beta, so I can't speak about how much his power has changed. We're not really in beta anymore anyway, even if sometimes it feels like we are. Still doesn't change the fact that learning how to adjust your formations, and use the best heroes and runes for the situation is still going to help more than just getting the occasional crit. Relying on lucky critical hits to up your damage when there are ways to play that will increase damage exponentially without depending quite so much on luck during the fight is silly.
The best I have been able to do in Baal/Cerb is to put Calvin in the 4th position with a level 4 Partisan. This delays the big strike until there is only one of my heroes left. Note that if you upgrade the rune to level 5 then he hits too early and you will loose one round on the fight.
That is the way the game is made, and to be completely honest I'd rather have a game that relies on luck to get nice things than having to buy them with no other option.
You keep trying until you get the heroes you need, once you know what they are. Do you think I haven't spent millions upon millions upon MILLIONS of credits to get my heroes? I'm at 50k per refresh of the Tavern at my level. That's not luck, it's dedication.
I worked for those credits, I didn't buy chests. I sailed boats and got sunk half the time, I use my daily salary, I told the Lady stories, and did the stupid freaking Labyrinth (Which HATES me. Seriously, I have the worst 'luck' in there.) so I can trade in tokens for more credits, just like everyone else. I kept going even through my own bad luck in the Tavern until I got the heroes I wanted. I made my own damn luck.
If your 'luck' is so bad already, what makes you think having to make a lucky crit on the boss is going to be any different?
Even with the right heroes you still have to get lucky enough to have a hero stun at all when you DO have them. Shayd seems to have something like an 80% MISS rate with a lvl 6 Hawkishness, and Cianna only hits her stun about half the time. The only surefire skill that helps on the boss is Calvin's Will Breaker skill, and only if you know enough to put him in the right spot and he has the hit rate to make use of it.
