At which of the top ranks do the different levels of gemstones drop?
I know 1st is lvl4 gemstone.
Placing 7th-10th seems to be lvl 2.
If someone could be so kind as to fill in the blanks it would be much appreciated.

Gemstones (chips)? I typically finish somewhere 5-7 on Baal/Cerb and have never received any chips, nor any plans. I'd like to know what the rewards are supposed to be also!
Think plans are normally given to top 3.
i been 4th i got plans not under that
gems u get them in top 10 rank's well i did any how
I guess what I really want to know is when do you start getting lvl 3 gemstones/chips.

May or may not, I'm pretty sure I've received level 3 stones when cerb was 25/50mil.. I could be mistaken
I believe the items you get (plans for top 3/stones/credits/coins/rep) are all tied to your % contribution to killing baal/cerb. During the first week after game went live, I received so very nice stones (ranking #1) including a +1750 health, I believe. I will double check on that one, but from my experience all the items received from these events is tied to you overall contribution to his death
I believe Top 1-3 are plans.. Correct me if I'm wrong.

First place gets a level 4 gems of a random variety and a Crafter plan based on their level.
Second through 5th get level 3 gems of a random variety. Second and third get Crafter Plans based on their level.
5th through 10th get a random level 2 gem.
Plus all the Coins/Creds/Rep
Coins are received based on 10% of your damage: Eg: you get 100,000 damage in a round, you'll get 10,000 coins.
Credits are based on 4% of your damage: Eg: You got 100,000 Damage in a round, you'll get 4,000 credits.
reputation is based on overall %: 100 rep per 1% Damage: Eg: you do 10% of the damage you the bosses, you will get 1,000 reputation.
Although, the gems may not be all that random. It's probably heavily weighted which ones you get, because i've gotten like 2 dozen level 3 Sapphires and only a couple of other gems.
