Rarity?

Before I get going, as a math teacher, I understand probability and percentages. Just want to get that out of the way.

On the server that I am playing on, the runes and heroes are seemingly not dropping any of the purple/yellow rarities for me anymore.
I have spent around 14 million in coins (1st place in Cerberus today, plus last hit in Baal, plus 1st place in arena rewards) on runes today. Have met the Legendary Keeper only a single time, and he rewarded me with a blue.
Have also spent around 8 million in credits on the Heaven Tavern. Have had 81 purple/yellow heroes pass through (Spirit count went up by 162), and of course, none of them were selected.

Is this a normal bad streak for people, or is this exceptional? Because, due to this new inability to get anything to help me progress, I am no longer able to keep up with the crowd on this server.

I do have the same feeling my friend, like they lowered the drop rate on yellow runes... and cards in tavern.. Didn't get anything for days... and 1st/2nd in arena, do all events, some times last hit cerb/baal... its not looking good :/

As a point of comparison, I went on server 7. I spent approximately the same money on Runes (12mill) and a little less on Tavern (3mill)
I met the Legendary Keeper 9 times, received two yellows, 8 purples, 4 fragments.
Still didn't get any heroes from the Tavern, but that difference in runes is huge.

I guess because everyone is getting more gold and credits, it's more rare to get a good rune/hero.

I spend almost 15 million coins a day on runes, and I meet the Legendary Keeper quite often. I've gotten maybe 2 yellow runes the past week.

First off teh top players are not cheaters, that is just wrong to even post. I hope a mod removes that comment

Secondly. You get hot and cold streaks in both rune temple and tavern

went 10 days without getting a hero
then had 1 every day for 3 days.
went 2 weeks without a yellow rune then got 4 in a week
I spend at least 5m in tavern and rune temple every single day
sometimes double to triple that.

Top players know to get good heroes at lower levels when the cost in tavern is cheaper. YOu can spin 5 times as much at level 20 as you can at level 50 for the same amount of credits.

Yeah, that's what I'm going for, getting the heroes early. But I've missed 84 in a row. And same with runes. I know to power them up fast, but if you don't have anything to power up, it makes it very difficult. At least I have Alexa from VIP 1 package, so that allows me to still compete, but We're getting to the point where people are now recruiting Shayd. And it's very tough to kill an army of purple/gold with multiple blues.

Well.. there's not really anything else we can do huh, besides pulling that credit card that is. :o

I figured I'd let you guys know. Due to some really good luck (Being first in Lady Guinevere three times in one evening) I got a large chunk of credits, and finally broke the streak after 137 misses (and that's only counting the number of refreshes that had legendaries, I long lost track of the number without). Got Cianna on attempt 138, and Shayd on attempt 142.
And, while it's not the rune I would have liked from the Legendary, he finally gave me a yellow after using the day three beginner rewards gems to buy coinage from the fair, and spending another 5million in coins, I pulled an Infalability.

So, the crazy bad luck streak is now busted. Thanks everyone!

i know this feeling all to well! rune temple hates me. that is the conclusion i have come to. i dont even hold my breath if i get to the legendary keeper, i know the chances of me getting a yellow is very rare. ive just learned to hate everyone else who gets yellow runes, at least that makes me smile, haha.

tavern has been horrible too, other people who recruit an awesome hero and then goes on to get 3 more saint cards in 24 hours and i cant even get a purple or gold to try and recruit... o well, guess it will make it more worth it when i someday do get there!
