Heroic Realm reduced to Cowards Realm

Please fix the PvP option in the Heroic Realm. We go there to fight a boss, and get raided by those who lie in wait to plunder. They aren't even there to fight the bosses, just to plunder folks coming in to battle the boss.

Several times now I have been attacked in there, and literally pulled out of my boss fight right in the middle of it, causing me to lose all my progress on the boss, and get plundered in the process.

Also the unlimited retaliate feature is seriously being overused for bullying.

Yes, I have had that happen to me as well. It takes changing formation and moving runes around in between battles with the enemy bosses to find a combination that will work. Very difficult to do that and get attacked and not be able to see the end result of the battle. Happened twice to me - defeated the first person... then tried again and got defeated by another.

This is similar to the PvP that went on in Baal and Cerberus fights in the beginning. Players were attacking other players in there to GRIEF them so they would not get attacks in on Baal / Cerb. This is another form of griefing that really doesn't have any place in the Heroic Realm. Go pick your fights in the wild, not in an area where we need to pickup resources to further ourselves in game. Think about how many players will not complete the Hope Chest armor quest in time if they keep getting hit. These are people who would still be on the learning curve. It's an excellent way to discourage playing the game for someone who is new. And if they make the mistake of clicking "Revenge" because someone interrupted their attacks to try to get the chest armor or other item they need to get further along in the quest, they just picked up a permanent cowardly "vampire" who will strike once a day for each revenge button click.

Effectively, you'll have a very discouraged player who will get hit as many times per day as they revenged without really knowing the consequences. And it will happen when the "un"-heroic Pker logs in in the morning and scrolls down their permanently stored hit list.

The only recourse to this at the moment is using up your resources to the point they are low or out and then going into the wild to get attacked and gain the 30minute shield so you can mix and match for the prize drops in peace. But really, why do players have to take that extra set of steps?

And the repetitive revenge issue... Don't get me started :p

There is no more repetitive revenge :)

This is a PvP game. You can only be attacked once and then you get a shield for 30 minutes.

By the way, the thing where combat with the boss appears to be "interrupted" when you're hit in PvP is a display issue only. Loot etc. is not affected.

All combat in Tynon is calculated instantly and then the battle displayed graphically for the involved player(s). Even if your combat appears to be interrupted, the outcome has already been determined. If you won the fight against the boss, you will automatically receive the associated loot, and then the battle with the other player will take place.

I hope this makes sense.

OK thanks for the explanation and letting us know we keep our loot if we win the battle with the Bosses in the Heroic level.

I guess I'll advise players to have few resources on them when they attempt the Heroic and resist the temptation to revenge if they're new to the game and don't quite grasp the long term effects of doing that. It's so easy to click a button and become the farm of your attacker in this game. I am glad it's now just 1 time per day. That's much more manageable and won't discourage new players.

Revenge option should disappear after use. Otherwise it puts people on a farm list forever. If people wanna prey on the weak, make them work for it.

Okay, it makes sense but I did defeat Envoy, and I did not get a reward for doing it because I was pulled into another battle. When I came out, the chest was not there, however it was a defeat of Envoy and I had to wait 24 hours to go at him again for the scroll I needed. I guess it could be possible this glitch had nothing to do with my being attacked PvP but it was nonetheless a glitch. Hope I have explained this well.

You aren't guaranteed to get the scroll you need. I spoke with the lead developer about this and he assured me that loot is awarded whether you click the chest or not.

Ok, thank you Dawnseeker. I have many issues with not getting items, rewards etc, or losing them on refresh, so I guess I will just have to wait for others to have the same issue. Do love the game though and can't wait till it goes live and the kinks are worked out :)
