Congrats!!! this patch just gave people a reason to make 20 alts and roll the dice as power now no longer plays a part.
About new World Boss.
We have 6 million powe strongest player at WB, he last hits with a chance like 90% - and its fine, since i am right behind him and had still my 10% chance. But now my chance = 1 x "ammount of players currently at Baal". So mostly its 1 to 33, or in other words - its 3% for me. How does is changes outcome? Well, first 5 players who are killing most bosses now arent rewarded properly for their effort, for all the job they done to get that strong, for all the hours they spend, now some 30 lvl player taking reward. You see, now if player have 500k power at 65lvl and lasthits baal - those 10,000k will not help him to become strong, there is no place for him in this game, he will not be succesfull ever.
My suggestion is - to remove 10,000k reward completly and to give special rewards between top 10.
1- 3,000k + 60% chance for Silver Chest and 40% for Gold chest.
2- 2,000k + 80% chance for Silver Chest and 20% for Gold chest.
3- 1,000k + 90% chance for Silver Chest and 10% for Gold chest.
4- 900k + 99% chance for Silver Chest and 1% for Gold chest.
5- 800k + 50% chance for Bronze chest and 50% for Silver Chest
6- 700k + 60% chance for Bronze chest and 40% for Silver Chest
7- 600k + 70% chance for Bronze chest and 30% for Silver Chest.
8- 500k + 80% chance for Bronze chest and 20% for Silver Chest.
9- 400k + 90% chance for Bronze chest and 10% for Silver Chest.
10- 300k + 100% chance for Bronze chest.
Everyone below top 10 have 100% chance for Wooden Chest.
Rewards are one random from 5. Chance for any reward should be 20%.
Wooden Chest rewards:
- Blue Medal.
- 100k coins.
- 50k credits.
- Speaker.
- 5 Gems.
Bronze chest rewards:
- 2 Blue medals.
- 300k coins.
- 1 Rune Fragment.
- 20 Tavern Spirit.
- 10 Gems.
Silver Chest Rewards:
- 5 Blue medals.
- 500k credits.
- 2 Rune Fragments.
- 40 Tavern Spirit.
- +50 Stamina.
Gold Chest rewards:
- 1 Purple Medal.
- 5-Up-blacksmith pattern (instantly giving +5 levels to your item level, need 100 stamina to be used)
- 4 Rune Fragments.
- 80 Tavern Spirit.
- Random hero Saint Card (purple 80% chance, gold 20% chance).
Aso, create special bonus for players - so random player will get Coins bonus after killing Baal, second random player will get Credits bonus, third player will gets Blue Medals. This bonus ammount you will get should depend on how fast you killed boss - if its taked 30 minutes - you will get less rewards, if in 10 minutes - you be higly rewarded, but only random 3 players.
Blech stamina from chests. Why? Can't wait one more day to get that gear piece upgraded?
Also do hero cards stack? If not you could end up with a lot of cards you don't need.
P.S. for those complaining about last minute joiners getting the 10 mil coins it happened before the change too.
I am loving this new ending. I'll admit some bias, since I (as Muadib) won it twice in a row on 29, yesterday! Woohoo!!! And today, a tiny player with less than 50K power walked away with the final hit. I think that win made that player's day. For the bigger hitters, 10Million coins is nice, but it doesn't do as much for your character as it does for that little guy. I was stunned when I got the first time, and snarfed my coke on the second one. I was genuinely happy for the lil guy or gal that walked away with the lucky final blow this morning on Cerb. Good work, Tynon.
I have a suggestion for you all: stop caring about the last hit.
The last hit cant be tactical if you general power count towards the result, its contraditory.
The boss is all about who deals more damage to get to the rankings, which already gives you very nice rewards. The last hit is a bonus for whoever is lucky enough.
As in other games, this "world boss" system was developed to reward people for their strenght, which is reputation, coins, credits and the final reward for ranking position; and for their luck, which is the last hit.
For an exemple, why would it be fair to have someone who deals 500k damage per round (which already gives him a sh.t load of coins and reputation) getting the 10m coins for the last hit, if he can just wait until the boss has less HP than his max damage?
People who doesnt help in the boss wont be rewarded as much as who is attacking from the beginning, even if he gets the last hit.
