Login & Connection Issues 8/13/13

We've put in a temporary fix until a permanent hardware fix can go in place later this evening. Most or all players should be able to login now, but if you do have any lingering issues, they should be completely resolved after the hardware fix this evening.

We're aware that some players are currently not able to log in to the game or to stay connected. We're investigating the issue right now and I'll post more information here when I have it.

We've pinpointed the cause of this issue and we're working on fixing it right now. Will report back with either an ETA or "Its fixed" (hopefully the latter).

The issue has been dealt with and we're monitoring to make sure the fix has corrected the issue. Everyone should be able to log in now, but you may need to clear your flash files, cache and cookies!

well its not fixed I have run ccleaner an dumped my dns cashe still cant get on

Oh I even tried different browsers FF Chrome IE none work

No Dawn its still the same. Please recheck once again.

it kicked me during Cerberus after I spent 1.2 mil to boost an then again on Baal I forgot about the problems an boosted again to 80% an didnt get credits for cerberus or Baal

Some people are getting disconnected but their account stays online, or at least doesnt indicate off line when whispered, and continues repeating the last two lines in Guild Chat. This first persons acct continued doing this for 45 minutes, and this most recent has been over 30minutes of the same.

Still having issues on server 17. Hitting 100% and not working. I have tried other browsers, cleared cache cookies etc

Not fixed here either and have even tried different computers. Fully loaded for cerb this morning and got 2 hits in before freezing up. Then can't get on for hrs. Were I get on its only for 2 min then it freezes again.

It worked for 10 mins quite good but now the disconnects start over again and on Reloading the game is incredibly slow till it starts loading the components. You see the game but it takes ages till the menu icons on top appear and your points are shown. And eventually it hangs again and i have to reload so its not really working.

why can I get on 9 with another player and not my main ? please fix it ..MourningGlory

i did same, got in, went into rune temple then all of a sudden i clicked on a person and nothing happened. i talked in guild chat and no one sees it, but i can see what i type, but no one else does. so i refresh, and what do u know, i cant get in again.

we also have a strage thing going on a player has been kicked off the server but the messages that were last said by her are repeating them selfs randomly

i have the same problem. and when i do get in, any battle locks up the game

The initial post in this thread (which is, incidentally, the sticky started by one of the actual staff, so it seems like this might be the place to post the problems) has been updated with new information.

Finally it worked. Wonder how many times in a week we run into this situation.

Are you serious? Do you realize which thread you are in and have you even bothered to read the first posts here? Don't talk down to people when you are mistaken. This thread was started by Dawnseeker claiming that the issues were resolved. Clearly they aren't so the everyone is on point posting in here, regardless of which thread was started first, seeing as this is now an "official" thread about this issue

i got back in. Am in baal, wasted credits to boost on the hopes that it was fixed, and i'm locked up and if i refresh im screwed again and probably wont get back in for another few hours. already lost creds and gems from this morning. Please fix this

Still having issues on server 17. A whole day is pretty much lost now..Really upsetting

NP sunni. Hope you can get back in again. Apparently the fix Dawn told about didn't work for everyone. Which is kinda par for the course. On the bright side, I haven't had a disconnect since logging off and running CCleaner. But it's only been a short time, so I expect it will come. Probably just before Rag or GW. :rolleyes:

Looks like we should all just expect weekly or several times a week sever crashes and failures. Hope everyone can get back into their games soon and that the servers stay up for more than an hour or two. I like Dawn, but think the devs above Dawn are feeding lines to be posted, to try to placate the masses. Sorry Dawn, no disrespect meant, but I have no faith right now. Hope that changes soon.

Still can't login.

Yes it is. i cant get back in again. No support, no compensations for the screw ups.

The worst part is alot of people are fine, so we are falling behind and nothing will happen.

Here's something strange.

When I log in from the main page and click on server 6 (where my original toon was), I can get in. When I click on 7, I can't get in.

Of the 4 servers onto which I have been logged during the past 18 hours only server 50 has been problematical, and this only in the past 2 hours. Servers 4, 31 and 47 have been performing credibly and functionally throughout the day.
