[Beta] 16 August – Beta Patch Notes & New Events!

Here are the latest Improvements and New Features to Tynon:

New Features:

• New Daily Events every day of the week. Read more here
• You can now use your Guild Contributions to purchase a Silver Chest or Golden Chest.

Improvements:

Sanctify

• Heroes will no longer receive a sanctify bonus which offers no benefit to them (example +magic damage on a morale-based hero).
• Heroes which already have a bonus like this will have those bonuses replaced with a new random bonus.

Tavern

• Players will now always get Spirits when the Tavern refreshes. The refresh cost has also been increased. This will be an overall increase in Spirit gain and help players more reliably acquire new heroes.

Banish Events

• When receiving plans rewards from Banish Baal/Cerberus events players will now get plans of an appropriate level for themselves.

Cretan Labyrinth

• Higher level Gem Chips are now available as prizes.
• Labyrinth Tokens can now be sold for 1 million coins each.

Arena

• The chance of Hero cards spawning in the Arena has been doubled.

Caribbean Pirates

• Players can now get half of their voyage rewards immediately after they start sailing. When their boat is sunk they will lose the other half of their rewards.

PvP

• Players now have 10 chances of Revenge or Wild PvP attacks everyday.

Rewards Package

• A level 70 Rewards Package has been added to the game. There is no cost to this package other than obtaining level 70 in the game.

Tynon Dev Team

As for the increase in Hero Cards in the Arena today was the first time I ever got one from the Arena, I was offline when it happened. Talk about instant gratification!

My question would be do the people already above level 70 still get the package and why is this suppose to hit live?

Other than that looks like a lot of improvements, slap this patch on!


Free Star Friday
Gem costs of all medals purchased on Friday will be refunded the next day on Saturday.

That can't be accurate, otherwise people would just buy like 100 medals Friday.

I don't think that is something that is going to be rolled out to the live servers. For the most part on the Beta server not many people are going to see a major benefit from this since you cannot purchase gems on the beta server since the game went live. The people who will benefit are going to be the ones who win the 1k gems in the Arena or those who were frugal with the gems they bought before the game went live.

Also, try logging into Beta and see if you can claim the level 70 chest, I'm not near there yet so it doesn't apply to me still.

my beta character is not very high, just prep for live server. I really hope pretty much everything else transfers over. Don't get me wrong i'd love to load up on medals and be refunded but that seems like that could be majorly exploited on a live server. Rest of the daily events look good.

They'll probably adjust some of the stuff like they did with "Hunger Games" i.e. "Ragnarok" :D

Has anyone been informed or red about when the live patch will happen?

I so so so hope this is brought to live. It would save the game from the frustration of negatives it's had lately. Would be a very positive and fun thing. Stars bought, returned to reuse is great because the fail rate still exists. I think its fair, but on beta where you can't buy new gems, its not going to have the effect it would on live. The other things look great too, and all in all bring more fun to the game.

Maybe the level 5 city buff that is missing is 3 chances at the silver/golden chest without using donations?

That would be too OP

You get 1 chance per guild level. so 5 chances for guild level 5.

For people who do grand donations, 5 chances are not enough, far from it. 8 chances would be more suited for them

I don't think it's related to the Guild Warfare city buffs. These Chests, you have 4 chances to purchase one using Guild Contributions, you could be right though Herby. If it is related to Guild Warfare then AFTER the first 4 chances to purchase a chest (its 4 chances to buy either the golden or silver chest combined not each) you would get an additional 3 giving you 7 chances to buy a chest. Now that would be sweet if it's true :D!

If I recall correctly I think Ragnarok was around for 3 weeks before it went live, maybe if this does go live it would be around that time? Purely speculation.

This looks great, looking forward to the patch on other servers.

yes, you still get the lvl70 rewards if you are already over lvl70 atleast was for me like that in beta

Rednaz, I noticed in the picture in your post that you have some of the extra slots in the bank open. Did you have to buy them with Gems ot is there some other way for them to be opened like the ones in the heroes package?

They were paid for, no way to open slots in the bank for free at this time.

Thanks for pointing out the type. It should have read that players will "NOW" get plans appropriate for their level, meaning you will not get plans for gear that you are not able to acquire items for or enter the zones where they drop.

Only 10 farms per day? Pathetic.

How is this different from now where level 40-49 get champion, 50-59 get guardian, 60-69 get ironhart, 70-79 get lightbringer?

Now you only gain a plan based on the farthest heroic realm boss you have defeated

If you've defeated Plague Professor for example, the plan drops can be anything from a Champion's sword to relic

If you've defeated Plague Lord, the plan drop can only be a Guardian sword or staff

my question is about the chests you can purchase with your guild funds. if you get a hero card you do not yet have, can you recruit the hero then like you now can recruit the hero from the fair or lab cards?

I was looking at the cost of the Silver and Gold Chests in the wiki. 50 and 100 Guild contribution means that if I make a Grand investment with a level 3 Win/Win tech I can get 52 silver chests or 26 gold chests or any combination thereof. That is crazy. Is the cost of the chests wrong in the wiki?

No they are not wrong its the right price. all VIP members are gonna ruck those guild chests. One more advantage for spenders.

I looked closer ate the wording and that stuff is in the chests pool. I think that means that is what could be in the chest so the good items will probably will be in the chest very frequently. That makes more sense.

You're right it is a treasure chest pool, out of the list 5 items will appear and you will get to shuffle them and choose 1 item, very similar to the shuffle mini game inside the Cretan labyrinth.

Yes and No, over time yes with a Grand Contribution you will be able to purchase the number of chests that you noted, keep in mind you only get 4 chances to purchase any combination of Silver or Golden chests per day. With the bonus from Guild Warfare, assuming the additional chest bonus is referring to these chests, you would get 7 chances per day.

It is my understanding that this should read: get the number of chances equal to your guild's level.

If you are in a level three guild, you CAN purchase three chests, level four CAN purchase 4 chests, etc.

And you get +3 chances if you have Koleton.

Guild level 5 + 3 = 8 chances

One of the new changes is a "10 times Revenge/Wild PvP limit".
So how is this supposed to work?

On the first day of the patch, it worked fine as it was supposed to. It stopped me from attacking/revenging after hitting 10 people.
BUT ON THE SECOND DAY ONWARDS, I cannot attack or revenge anyone.
The same message pops up even if I haven't attacked anyone the whole day.

Yes you can do only 10. Im not sure if defense counts towards that 10.
Also the 10 times doesn't seem to reset yet during server maintenance at midnight.

Why are people still arguing over the Koleton bonus. It still doesn't work live, is it working in beta yet?

No one in Beta has a guild level 5 so no one can test it

NEW CHANGE:

Refeshing in Tavern does not give you spirits anymore if there is no unique hero.

Instead each purple or yellow hero will give you EIGHT spirits, instead of the old two spirits.

Better let the devs or staff know before the update goes Live

i just checked the beta .. i was getting 4 spirits at times and 8 at times. a bit confused.
