i have the card of olaf but haven't recruited her so I honestly don't know yet but am very curious.. did sanctify just boost your mage attack then?
Actually watching the announcements for various sanctified heroes, it looks like its random. It can be anything from a HP bonus up to a magical attack. Which is kinda useless for a non-Mage. And likewise physical attack for a Mage.
Yeah it's random and I doubt we'll change that. I have Lilli who got a +hp buff.
then about an hour later I saw someone get a huge +phydef and I was bummed. I wanted that.
A few days ago, I captured a Leader card in the arena. It did not work on my character, so I ended up selling it for a lot of gold.
I think they should change the magic attack buff and only make it possible to get on a magic attack hero, Makes it more fair for non spenders. I just got a hero card from the tavern and it added magic attack to Gorn the Maker, as a non coiner that is probably one of the few times i well have the chance at getting a card and it sucks i just got magic :/ i don't even see the point of it, it is completely useless but cost a lot, had to spend 20 gems to get the card.
how do i get these leader cards?
you can win them in the arena, you can "buy" them in the fair, claim 150 tokens from the lab or claim it with enough spirits from the tavern.
its not a very good system tbh to be totally random , especially when people are paying money to actually improve their heros and get something useless , maybe you get a list of all stats , choose 3 , and then it shuffles them and you choose 1 ?
the service on here is as appalling as the design of some of the game elements this is a launch and they are focused on marketing + revenue. As a business consultant I know they are killing their own revenue with poor customer service and a lower quality product. There is no financial reason for them to rip off the players by giving them nothing in return for >$100 for a good quality card which costs the game makers nothing to produce. Why would they be so lazy as to leave things like this when it's clearly damaging their reputation and revenue by making their VIP's want to quit.
i am ViP 2 , i was considering getting vip3 for increased chances on purples , but now that i may just get a useless saint buff , i changed my mind tbh
The disadvantages of a start up company =)
im telling you im in top 5 on my server (probably a top 20 client of theirs) and im trying to sell my account because of this and other issues like it.
The failure rate in an item gives the "risk" factor.
At first, players will get frustrated.
But as they learn that its part of the system, they will try and try more.
In the long run, having a risk of failure system is more profitable than a zero-risk system due to the massive increase in number of tries per person.
not really herby since people are paying for this remember , they will pay the 100 gems at high er saint levels to retain the card for failures , so this is screwing people out of what they spend money on, the draw chance should be a gamble / random ofc , but the sanctify should be more controlled
Meanwhile people get mad and hunt down these dogs for ripping them off.
Well after this happening 3 times to me and twice on the same character I want to get a refund and quit.
Consumer protection. The setting of odds for card and dice games; combined with minimum prize
percentages for bingo; continuing lotteries; and video lottery terminals guarantees a minimum return
to the player.
The consumer is in a vulnerable position concerning the fairness of games, the odds, and final payouts
compared with the gaming operator. By regulating the conduct of community gaming this information
imbalance is addressed by ensuring that the gaming is conducted in accordance with reasonable and
transparent standards. By incorporating accountability controls on permit holders, problems of
dishonesty and mismanagement are addressed and players can be assured the games are conducted
fairly. By regulating the rules of games the players benefit from a clear understanding by all parties of the
rules and responsibilities of the principal parties in a game. The restrictions ensure fairness in terms of
an understanding of what is being played for (the prize), how the game is supposed to work (the rules)
and in ensuring that the game does work as explained and is winnable (the expected payout).
Tynon is clearly misleading on all of these matters.
not only that sir and tom - but you may, small chance win a RARE or EPIC or whatever they call the best hero's - a purple or higher hero, and lets say for the sake of argument, you spend 5 million credits to get this hero, then by chance you get him again, spending another 5 million credits in the process, and you sanctify him - say it was Shayd, and the attribute you get was skill attack, by luck you get shayd again and this time you get physical strength as saint options, let me ask u guys - how fair is that process?
- not only do i agree with you that this is unfair in the hero's tavern, but on occasion u can win a hero, but it is extremely rare, so to get one, is awesome but to win another one or 2 and then get attributes that are useless, is complete garbage, unfair and i want the devs to see this
Thankyou and there is also the point that you can pay $20-$30 to protect the card when you sanctify (by buying $10 worth of gems), have it protect the card from failure and then it gives you the useless stat. This also happened to me two times, where I spent money on a card, paid the insurance to protect it from loss and then was given no consideration (nothing of value) in return for what I paid. That's why I wanted a refund, they gave me nothing of value.
The elements of contract law are offer, acceptance, agreement and consideration. They provided no consideration, so this is not a valid transaction.
Well said Tom
and everyone will agree: that first of all to win a card is hard, and takes a lot of luck(spend 3-6m credit in process)
u got a saint V chance for next sanctify is 55%(so now u can loose ur card)
and then what happens u get for example magic attack on Alexa..
hmm lovely :) u gota be kidding.. these things need to be removed
so pls devs take out magic attack for physical heroes, and take out skill attack and phy attack for magic heroes
So you think it's totally fair to "win another one or 2" by luck, but unfair to get bad attributes from a card by luck?Quote:
so to get one, is awesome but to win another one or 2 and then get attributes that are useless, is complete garbage, unfair
There are young women in Africa who walk five miles and back every day to fetch water for their families, while you sit on your bum playing games and spending your parents' money ... do you think that's fair?
Epic necro lol
