Patch Notes 8/23/13
Here are the latest improvements and New Features to Tynon:

Known Patch Issue:

After sailing with someone in Caribbean Pirates, their hero will sometimes be visible in your heroes screen. A refresh will fix this issue. Any gear equipped on that hero will be lost, so please be careful not to equip gear on a hero that is not yours if you get this bug.

Improvements:
- Cianna: New character model!
- Sanctify: Heroes will no longer receive sanctify bonuses which offer no benefit (i.e. +magic damage on a morale-based hero). Heroes which already have bonuses like this will have those bonuses replaced with a new random bonus.
- Players will now receive more Spirits when they discover purple and gold heroes in the Tavern. Refresh costs have also been tweaked based on player level.
- New Guild Chests added: Players can trade in guild contribution for these new chests which offer some highly-sought items.
- When receiving plans rewards from Banish Baal/Cerberus events, players will now get plans equivalent to the highest Heroic Realm boss they've cleared.
- Cretan Labyrinth now awards higher level Diamond Chips.
- Labyrinth Tokens can now be sold for 1 million coins each.
- Doubled the chance of hero cards spawning in Arena.
- Players now receive half the Caribbean Pirate rewards immediately, and half upon completion.
- Players may now attack others in PvP a maximum of 10 times per day.
- Level 70 and 80 rewards added.
- Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Define appropriate level. I just killed Cerb and recieved a Champion Sword. I'm level 58 and I've been able to farm the boss that drops the Champion Sword for over a week now. I'm also far enough into the quest line that I have unlocked all of the resources needed to craft a Guardian Sword. So why when I'm 2 levels away from being able to wear level 60 gear am I getting level 40 gear still?

The tavern is not giving spirits per refresh and I haven't noticed it giving any larger rewards than the standard 2 spirits per card either. Some folks swear they have, but I haven't on 61.

I do not think much of the new choice of plans from WB drops. I already have all Champion equipment except for Spirits and I got a Champion Sword plan on first place. My highest level in Auto Level Up is 67, edge of darkness, and that is for Ironhart spirit so shouldn't I be getting Ironhart plans?

Its based on your Heroic Realm progression.

The new world boss plan drops:
Depending on the last Heroic Realm boss you have killed.

For example, the most advanced boss you have killed is the Plague Lord, who drops Guardian swords and staffs.
Your world boss drops if you place 1st, 2nd or 3rd would be a Guardian sword or staff.

Under redeem it still says lab tokens are 5 for only 2 mill and can't be sold only abandon.

New cianna animation is glitched on 3rd attack before ambush, she does attack then everyone just stands there for 5 seconds, no miss, dodge, no hit on bosses, looks cool though.

On server 33 my main hero is recon ranger. This morning,I sailed on pirates and got my 1/2 booty right off the bat. Upon successful sailing completed at 08:36:01 I was awarded a new hero called "Tamra" guess because shes the one that took me across. I placed her in formation, bought new apprentice equipment for her and installed the runes i had on my archer Starr. Went into heroic realm to battle and the new hero "Tamra" didnt show. I checked my rankings and she didnt show in that. Everyone in my guild "Atreides" told me to refresh so i did. Upon refresh Tamra was gone, her equipment was in my inventory and her runes were gone. I want those runes back!!!

Send this to billing support they may be able to help.

So when I beat The Envoy (Elite), that has only been beaten bu two players in my server, I will start getting Ironhart plans and I already have all I need except for 3 swords that I would be able to get from The Envoy once I can beat him. I still do not think much of the changes. They should be based on what you can craft and not on HR. I can craft all Ironhart and when I beat Venomious (that would be easier if I could get those three Ironhart plans) I will be into the Lightbringer material. If it was based on what you can craft I would be getting Ironhart and a chance at the plans I need and not what I already have.

Guild Treasure chest glitch- I opened chest received treasure map -- I then claimed guild benefits and got R map

Went to Pirates- used one map -- no second map has appeared. -- none after refresh either

Two others in guild who claimed guild benefits, then opened guild chest DID get theirs. (reverse order from me)

--- and as above post Team mates are showing up in hero list--

Love most of the patch, thank you for giving the lvl 70-lvl80 rewards, Thank you for the chests, they are really a great addition. I love the new character, though I also liked how she was since she was already different from the rest. I am very happy to see the VIP thing gone. It is only my business how much I spend. Feels really freeing. Glad to hear the lvl 5 city buffs will work and just am very happy with the overall results.

My experience is also that Cianna now has a problem in her animation, that the spirits don't come every refresh, but do pay 8 when I hit a purple (I read it is dependent on character level how high the spirit number is), and that I experience no further glitches since the patch.

The drop being dependent on heroic I think seems wise, though I like the suggestion of it being dependent on cleared area. That makes a lot of sense to me.
I have a question about it for the Beta testers; Does it mean that when you are not passed a boss which drops relics, it won't drop that or is it just level difference and it will drop all items? Ty :)

Great update, look forward to more improvements, keep up the good work.

I edited the patch note to be more clear. You receive more spirits for discovering gold and purple heroes, not simply for refreshing the Tavern.

We'll get Cianna's Time Freeze ability fixed up soon.

Ok most of this patch is great.

Issue 1. Ciannas animation is glitched beyond belief
Issue 2. I have cleared baron fuego in heroic realm and got a guard sword. SERIOUSLY? if i have cleared teh final boss for guard items There's 0 chance I need sword plans. How about we make it more realistic like guardian cloak or relic?
Issue 3. guild chests are a bit of rip off. In gold chests today I received 22k exp, 882k coins and 882k credits. SO for 300 contributions I got a lot less then the 100 contributions to claim guild benefits. I mean i get that people are having issues getting maps, so those are a chance in a chest. I disagree with this, but can live with that, The gems and leader and hero cards and contributions are awesome. But the gold, credits and exp should be much much higher by at least 7 to 10 times higher for it to make claiming a gold chest break even

same problem here, i spend almost 3000k in credits and nothing, tavern gave me the same amount of spirits as before the Patch =/

Stupidity on my part, I saw this was not addressed so I clicked it and of course it ate 5 tokens and only gave me 2 million coins.
They can't be sold only abandoned and it doesn't give the amount of coins it says it does, just an fyi to everyone.

Ok seriously someone explain the rationale behind this
I have baron fuego in heroic realms defeated. meaning I now have 5 bosses I can defeat that can drop guard sword plans. WHY did everyone in my realm on server 1 who took 1-3 get sword plans me and teh guy who took 2 and 3rd today have 5 bosses to get them from, while 1st place got iron heart sword plans both times and he has 5 bosses he can get them from.

We went from only getting chest helmet and cloak plans to know getting the most useless plan possible. Now if I had the envoy defeated but not the next boss and was getting iron heart sword plans from Baal/Cerebus, that would make sense. Or if I only had Molten cerebus defeated but not senator fuses defeated, then getting guard swords from baal/cerebus makes sense.

Please rethink this.

Yes, these are my feelings too! I recieved Champion Sword plans... but have had that gear on mu heroes for quite some time - useless drop if you ask me, and so totally NOT worth the credits it cost to boost. (other than that.... LOVE the new fixes!)

Did runes get changed? I spent over 10 mil gold doing as I always do manually and i normally average 1 yellow rune every 1-2 mil gold on average when I do it this way, not only didnt I get any yellow runes I only got 2 purple runes I dont even need and 8 frags total. SO my question is if you changed runes you should let people know before they buy chests to try and get runes because I dont like spending my hard earned money only to find youve changed it to almost impossible to get good runes.

You should give out plans based on player level. If it's level 60-69 give out Ironheart equipment plans. All this means is that i'm going to get plans for equipment I have already made for the next month. You need the higher level equipment to beat the heroic bosses and get plans for stuff that is rare like relics. Boss fights were a fun and exciting event now with 10 mill coin lotto you don't even need to be sitting at computer. The plans you can't use because you are long past crafting the equipment. Boss fights were one of the main reasons I started playing tynon. To have nerfed it to being near worthless and no reason to be competitive it's no longer fun. I guess I'll just stick it on auto and get 2 hours of life back per day!

I am having terrible lag issues every time i do ANYTHING it says error 2048 and keeps spamming me . also cant fight without the game frozen any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated

Im on the new server got vip2 thinking Id be a monster and been online all day, ever seen a new server not having announcements for yellow runes? Ive not seen one all day long and now Ive spent another 5 mil gold and still no yellow runes. WTH is with this bs bugged runes or what? They make changes and dont announce it and Im really upset almost enough to ask for my money back, this is total crap 15 usd isnt allot of money but, the point is I spent it and might as well have lite it on fire and blew it out the back door for all it got me.

Yea glitchy, i got 1st in the baal event and they gave me hopebringers armor level appt. i dunno but ive had all of those for quite some time

Cianna does look nice. But she didn't need a makeover. Adamanti desperately does, and it would be nice for Smoulder.

I HATE the new Cerb/Baal rewards. I'm lvl 56 and I get Hope stuff now instead of Guardian? Unless I get a Relic (I doubt I will.), that's worthless.

WHAT the new update does is MOVE away the focus of World Boss events away from the plans.

It's ALWAYS THE SAME PEOPLE who get the plans day in and day out.

This bring an UNFAIR ADVANTAGE over the other 99% of players out there who cannot place 1st 2nd or 3rd in World boss, and don't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting a Lightbringer plan from heroic realms, or worse, Justice plans.

Now YOU HAVE TO EARN YOUR CHANCE TO GET A PLAN in World Boss events.

You will not get a plan that you have not "unlocked", or earned the right to get.

@everyone complaining about the new world boss drops:

EARN your plan drops. Fight as far as you can into Heroic Realms.

Agreed. That is how the majority of players have to do it.

Use those 10 million coins you got to power up and beat some heroic bosses.

I have The second Envoy Unlocked
I have busted my but to get that far in HR.
I deserve something better then sword plans because I have busted my but to earn Top 3 over and over again in baal/cerebus. I should not be punished because other people do not play the game as good as I do.

Sword plans in baal/cerebus is ridiculous because if you can beat the boss to unlock the sword plans
you dont need the sword plans since it drops from every boss. You need helmets chest guards cloaks and relics. which drop less.

So if you are mainly getting sword plans its a waste for EVERYONE including you herby who just wants to bash people who do better then you.
I am not complaining that I am no longer getting sword plans, I wanted to get guard plans, just not swords. I wanted cloaks and relics which are the 2 hardest to drop. And since its a challenge to get top 3 in baal and cerebus, the rewards for it shouldnt be the same thing I could get from 5 different bosses that I have already beaten plenty of times
