KickAss how else is combat going to be done. do you want the server to actually wait in between moves on the video combat and determine the next move? You will get the same results. In combat the program can calculate the results of all moves necessary to complete combat in a second or 2. It just takes 2 or 3 minutes to actually visualize it for us humans. So saying combat is predetermined is not necessarily correct. The results are just calculated and determined at a super high speed. Same with the tavern and runes. This is no different then any other game i have ever played. Rigging any of this so some people get better results then others is not advantageous to the company. Does it seem impossible to get the heroes you want or the runes you want? Sure, but that's true in this style of play for free type game. They need you to spend money to get lucky and get better. If every time a legendary hero appeared in the tavern you got it, what would be the point of spending money on the game to buy credits. From my experience the average is this
you will pick a legendary hero once out of every 50 times a legendary hero appears in the tavern.
How did i figure that out? by comparing how many legendary heroes myself and others have and our spirit tokens. And most of the people i talk to are having about the same results as me. for every legendary hero they have picked after the shuffle they have about 50 spirit tokens

If anyone else is having extremely drastic results please post those results

Also having which card you pick being "predetermined" is actually a good thing. Other wise it is pure luck if you ever get a legendary hero. By the system determining which one you will get regardless of which card you pick allows the game to be programmed out to have the results I mentioned above. Which is for x number of times a legendary hero appears you will receive a legendary hero. This in turn keeps teh playing field more level in the long run and encourages early spending on a server.

Everything is done mathematically. It is possible for a developer/programmer to be going in to individual's accounts and weighting certain persons results one way or another. But do you really think they have the time to do that across all the server with all the players. I seriously doubt it. The results of all the "random" events in the game are a simple mathematical formula that will average out in the long run. Of course the formulae are weighted in the game's favor to make you spend money. But they are not imo weighted so certain individuals get better results then others

Boroeast you are a forum moderator you have 4 purple heros. I always choose the middle card sooner of later the good hero should be in that position but it never is that is rigged. I would think the odds of a good hero should be 20%/20% but to never get a good hero? That stretches the creditability of calling it a shuffle. I am guessing there is a factor that some people are predetermined to have bad luck in the game. I pick the same position to remove the element of luck. So how does someone with some inside have 4 purple heros and I have only 1 (poor at that)? This is one after playing beta and live.

I have 5 purple and one gold. There is a pattern, I have found on my account, and a couple of other's guild members accounts as well. Find yours, and you will get good heros.

PS- Only because I'm a Forum Mod does not mean anything.They don't give special access or special resources to moderators or any other player. The servers are fair and competitive environments.I don't get any special resources in the game.

Nowhere does it say that you have a 20% chance. It's pretty obvious that better cards have a much smaller % chance of being selected. The card you receive seems to be randomly selected but with varying chances. (something like white - 90%, blue - 5%, purple 3%, yellow and gold - small) The shear number of refreshes and chances taken guarantees some wins to trumpet in World Chat and the Banner.

Not sure about the exact percentages, just saying the Tavern works along those lines. NOT A CHEAT BY TYNON. Just chances much tougher than 20%. The cards are placed around the card you selected, That's the reason for the one position move that many of us have noted.

10% to 20% chance to get it im always 1 card off There is a pattern to it just watch it and you will get it sooner or later:)

I have gotten fragments or yellow runes in the rune temple, then got disconnected. I log back in and do not have the fragments or runes but the coins came back. So I push auto pray and get the exact same results that happened before I was disconnected. SO either I get the fragment or the yellow rune I had lost.

In the tavern, I have refreshed several times, then get disconnected. When I log back in I have credits returned to me as if I didn't refresh the tavern. Then I go back in the tavern and get the exact same results in the tavern that I received before the disconnect.

So obviously the game is predetermining things in advance and storing those results for it to recall and use later.

But that does not mean much. Its actually a good thing with my example of the rune temple.

just because its determined ahead of time does not effect how it is determined. Based on what I have done and comparing it to others. We are all getting about the same results. The more coins and credits you invest in the tavern and temple the better thing you will get.

What one person considers alot may be nothing to someone else.

I invest about 2 -4m creidts a day in the tavern or more
I have 410 spirits and have received 5 purple heroes
well 3 purple heroes and 2 of them a second time awarding their saint card.
Comparing this to other people they have done about the same as me.
Now some people have gotten 1 or 2 more legendary heroes and a few less spirits then me, but they have spent more credits. Its gonna equalize out over the VERY LONG TERM

I know people who have coined more then me and have worse heroes and runes then people who have not coined at all. - That alone tells me its not rigged towards coiners.

We have all been there at one point where we feel this game is rigged to some degree or another. And you know what it probably is - the same way Vegas is. But what the casinos do is not illegal. The average casino earns 7 dollars for every 1 dollar it pays out. But its all based on odds and math - I feel the same is true here on tynon. Some people seem a lot luckier then others, in the long run it will average out.

The next time you feel its rigged
turn the game off take a deep breath and go do something else, come back to the game later, its only a game.

matt's explanation makes a lot of sense I'll stick with that. none of you has better to say other than this.

What is being said is that the program is not shuffling before you pick a card. It puts the cards in a different location based on the spot you pick...usually with the desirable card right next to the spot you pick. In other words it is fixed and with a little time and a basic statistical math, you can reverse engineer the algorithm and predict very accurately what cards will be where. If this is true, and I believe it is, the poster is correct. Users are led to believe they are playing a mini game of pure chance when click 'shuffle' and then select a card, when they are actually not. The odds of getting the incredible hero are much higher then presented or not possible at all. This must be disclosed plainly by the game publisher and/or all money refunded. It is okay for the publisher to make the odds whatever they want, they just can't charge real life money and be deceptive. Gems, I feel, will be considered 'real life money' in this case because they are the only thing you can buy with real life money as it relates to gameplay.

Strange huh, there are 5 cards and you can flip one.

So you are pretty much saying that the system puts the hero behind the card you did not click? And you know how? Stop waisting your time on the forums and break that code then. We'll see if you figure it out, you will get every hero that passes you then right?

Did you receive anything other than Catherine for your first hero? You did draw that from a deck, right?

i started server dreams of hypnos 65 9days ago and i spent over 30 million credits only have 3 purples none or saints.
also have about 600 spirits.
I'm thinking the tavern is rigged or Im specially super duper extremely unlucky!
