I'm sure it's been discussed often and loudly, and I did search, however didn't find a match.
Banners continue to get in the way. While viewing potential revenge options, rune sifting, and labyrinth exploring these things continue to block information and annoy. I really don't care if an "Exquisite Hopebringer Spirit" was crafted, for instance.
Are any plans in motion to help in this area?

Well, I'm still hoping it comes to be. Can't hold breath quite that long, but goodness, it would make game play so much better. The banners are in the way often and I can't see my potential opponent's power, see the top line of the fair, or other similar things. It seems to always be in the way.

I'd be fine if you could make the banner text smaller, translucent (%-managed), and it didn't supercede UI interaction.
Hiding it is okay but for those of us who still enjoy it, it's more that it interferes with the UI more than it being an annoyance on its own.
I think banners announcing every little thing you win/build/craft/earn is a bit of privacy issue anyway. And too much is announced... some may give others hope, that things are achieved, but most of the time i hear grumbles of frustration.. like "how many cards are drawn while you spin away 20m credits with nothing" and same in runes... only private things on this game are talents. If what is put in banners were cut by 50%.. or more, it might not be such an issue. Or put it in world chat only, which you can already switch off. That way its not splashed across the screen interfering with other game functions.
Well, still no reply or hint since that initial "it's coming". I remember in Evony when "it's coming" was discussed on selling unused items back to get coins. Never happened.

This is becoming a feeble hope... and dying. Are we REALLY going to be able to suppress the banners that constantly get in our way and cause difficulty in playing the game? Was this a misguided ray of hope, only there to be dashed by the sands of time?
