Pirates not paying out first half of rewards

Ever since the patch, it seemed like randomly I was missing out on the first half of pirates rewards, until today I figured out the exact circumstance in which it was happening. It seems, If I get in a boat, then go back to aerie BEFORE the person with the other half of map gets in, and the sail starts with me not on pirates screen, I do not get the envelope for first half of pirates rewards. Yesterday,and any other time when I stayed on the pirates screen until the other passenger boarded, I got them just fine. Any time that I get in a boat, leave pirates, and go about my game while waiting for another passenger to board I do not get the first half of rewards. I DO get the 2nd half every time I complete, and it does give credit in assistant, so that's not the issue. Hoping for a fix for this, but as that sometimes can take a while to happen, I figured posting it here would at least give a heads up to players who are having the same issue.
