Login Failed, Please try to Refresh

Ok now this is some really weird stuff.

I am at level 81 with 2 bars to go to level 82 on server 1.

I got booted out of my account a few minutes ago with a "someone else has logged into your account" message. Though checking if another tab may have opened up Tynon, i didn't find any.

I refreshed and got back in without issues.

Now, after a few minutes, I noticed I was at level 56 (!) with my character.

I tried to refresh to see if it's a display error, but upon doing so, I get the error:

"Login Failed, Please try to refresh".

I have already filed a ticket detailing what happened.

Anyone else experience this?

well your showing as level 56 in your profile with 16.6m power

Now you can level up and get teh level 60,70 and 80 rewards all over again and have all the level bonuses added in a second time

You are showing at lv 56 via your profile. I know you were way higher.

Oh and now you can attack people who are only level 53

Teach me how to do this

Well this is some really convoluted stuff..

Could this be a security issue?
Account corruption?

Btw I still can't login. Same error message "Login Failed. Please try to refresh"

I'd prefer my level 81 going to 82 please. Im aiming for the last rune slot.

Well honestly it sucks that you cant login

But being at level 56 again has its advantages since your power and runes are all the same

Hope they at least fix it so you can get in

Thanks Matt. Yes, the wait is terrible, especially not knowing what's happening to my account.
The power was decreased btw. I was at 17.6m power before my level went to 56.

Also, the new 10 pvp limit all but negates any advantages of being low level with high power :(

The drop in power more than likely is from the command and intel stats that were added by leveling not being there now. Your runes/gear still show in profile and look correct as to what they were.

Yes, I believe that would be the case.

I wouldn't want to level all the way from 56 to 82 again though :( That has taken 2 months or so to do..

yeah level 82 takes almost a week

Have you checked the email acct associated with that account and see if youve received any message from tynon about a suspension or something?

Let me check that now.

Though if there's any suspension or such, I don't believe any account should be reduced from level 82 to 56, or reduced in any way.

I just checked now. No suspensions or infractions, and no other email from Tynon except the one that's an auto reply for my submitted ticket.

Well thats a good thing at least. So probably just a dev was playing around in the system and your account got glitched, and they are trying to figure out how to fix it

The leader board still shows you at 17.6m power but profile is still 16.6 and level 56

were you switching form for cerebus and that is the reason power is lower on profile?

No I didn't make it to Cerb. This happened an hour or so before Cerb was due.

I would just send an update to the ticket reminding them how fast you can have PayPal reverse charges, should speed things up

Im hoping it wouldn't come to that, as I enjoy playing this game very much, and have invested a significant amount of money into it.

But things like this really does make one think otherwise.. if the money and the time and effort are all really worth it?

It's an online game. If you get happiness and personal satisfaction out of playing it, and gaming is you life, then spending the money may be worth it to some. T others, not so much. Personally, I prefer to have tangible items in hand if I am spending real money on it. Like steaks, sushi/sashimi, lobster tails, electronics, home remodeling supplies, etc. And giving "spare" cash to worthy charities like cancer research, diabetes research, animal rights and rescue foundations, women's and children's shelters, and such. But that's' just how I see it. Whatever makes you feel best, makes you fell best. *shrugs*

But whether you pay to play or not, are a high coiner or a VIP 1 like me, the constant loading issues, dc's all day long, and other glitches that get worse with each so-called "patch"... it does make you stop and think whether your time is better spent elsewhere. I work from my computer, and own my own business, so I have the luxury of working and playing at the same time. And play to work off stress and have fun, not to be able to tell people that I am a "winner" at a game. *shrugs again* and UCool does not care if non-paying players or low coin players like me stop playing. They will get more paying suckers... I mean players... with each new broken server they open.

It would seem this is a intentional action would be hard for your level to be reduced on accident,we have seen something like this happen before to a player on our server (specwar) as a punishment. so ask him further details about what his displayed. if you havent received a notification or update from Tynon yet might help you to know whats going on if yours is looking the same way his did.

If it was intentional, wouldn't or shouldn't they inform the account holder why it was done?

I'm working with CS on this issue Kyleena. Please try closing all Tynon browsers, clearing your cache, cookies and temporary internet files, then logging back in. Try it again, even if you already tried it, please.

I'll try it right now Dawn. I'm gonna reboot and use a fresh install of IE for this (I don't use IE for Tynon at all).

I'm back. I rebooted, cleared cache temp files and everything that can be cleared in IE's Tools -> Internet Options -> Browsing -> Delete menu.

I get the "Login Failed" error at the 30% mark when the browser is downloading a fresh copy of the client.

kyleena, even if it was your browser or internet it wouldn't effect your lvl or power . they have to be looking at your account or something for you to show up in everyone's rankings as a lvl 56 with 16 mill power

have you tried with someone else on another pc etc log your acc? i know during beta when i was stuck on 99/100% loading a friend could run my acc on his pc without a hitch, i just couldnt do anything, even after clearing all the stuff. maybe let someone else try and see if they get the same problem?

Hi Spec.
Yes, that's true. I asked my VHs and several server 1 forumers to check, and indeed, I am sitting now at level 56.
I noticed that there was something wrong, when i got a "you have successfully levelled" message and I was like. What, level 56?
I hovered my mouse on the xp bar and it showed something like 445k / 800k xp.
I refreshed after this and from then on, get the Login Failed message.

Well, no one else has my account info. I tried logged in from my laptop at home earlier, and my office computer at work now. No go for both.

yeah that's weird . hopefully they get it fixed. after they do that's when youll get an email telling you what they did or didn't do reguarding your account .

Mel, that was my problem too. Neither home nor work pc would load tynon for me to be able to actually play the game. I think i played the game for about 3 weeks via team viewer on another friend's spare pc.
