As of 5:38 this morning(its now 13.20 servertime on s8) 19 sails and 2 sinkings. So were having roughly 2 sails per hour which is much much less than what we used to have.

oh and evilside if you want to do that you make a right boat i sink it thing. It'll have to wait. Im out of sails already today.

I have a map and am out of sails too because i was able to steal 3 maps (2 right and 1 left) before i remembered to claim.
Now here's the lesson to everyone on every server.
There are lot of people complaining about how hard it is to cross in pirates.
ALot of people are complaining of the lack of real challenges in this game
Alot of people are complaining that theres not much to do cross realm wise
alot of people are complaining about the lack of strategy needed to do most things
alot of people are complaining about how boring the game is getting
So lets see. This "blockade" combined with the lack of one side of a map on a server everyday has answered all those issues.4
This is more challenging. This requires more coordination within a guild. This also allows for coordination between guilds. This gives you something to actually do when your bored. This has made making a competed sail ALOT easier.
Now stop complaining and go play pirates teh new and improved much more fun filled and challenging way.
Very narrow view matt, you are only seeing one server which appears to not have that issue as much. I don't see it on server 2 either. But beta is a mess. Maybe some of the 11+ servers, i can't see cuz i'm not on them. But BETA has been clogged up with rights blockading for days now with no end in sight as most i have seen in my guild have gotten rights today in claim.
Server 7 also gets mostly Rights.

First off beta is beta and i look at that server as a completely separate issue, because god knows what they are doing or not doing on it.
As for the live servers.
yes server 1 is getting almost all left maps since the patch just like every other live server is getting all one side every day.
Some of us on Server 1 just have it figured out

Oh and as a side note. Im just using the naval logs to gather my data on # of sails and maps stolen. And we all know not everything makes it into the naval logs. SO I would guess that there is even more activity on the seas then just what i am reporting. I am not watching pirate screen all day recording what happens
