Smoulder! to weak to be a gold card.

I love my Smoulder, but, I just realised he's really.... weak. so why is he Gold? he barely hit all 5 target, he can only hit 3 or 2 in normally. I do understand he's the weakest magic damager there is. So why is he Gold then?

Umm..let's see he can hit all 5 targets. Which why he has weaker attacks and is also why adamanti's thousand strikes is weaker compared to say driving blow. Throw a lvl 9 preciseness rune on him and you should be good to go against most people in pvp for quite a long time.

my smoulder has level 9 preciseness rune and a level 10 intense rune. he rarely hits 5 targets. Adamanti's Thousand strikes is way stronger than him lol. probably it can skill crit. and mages don't do magic crits

I agree with lamodomo, Smoulder is very underpowered.

I was comparing thousand strikes to driving blow but whatever.

I usually hit at least 3 heroes with horns of hell and shayd isn't all that more reliable.

High Star level Smoulder with high level gear are quite powerful in Ragnarok and PvP.

Example:

8 Star Smoulder with Level 30 Armour, Level 60 Staff and level 10 runes.

Level Magic Attack Talent to level 50 onwards and you're seeing 12-18k magic damage each turn from Smoulder.

Thats what I have. but my smolder is 6 star atm. still he can do 11-15k magic damage. still. not enough to compete with Adamanti Skill Crit attack which I think, deals 25-35K damage and it mostly hits four people off the panel. Combine him with a Bloodstorm its like, GG for you hahaha. Skill Crit is just insane in this game =))

He have a nice gear, plus lvl 10 preciousness and lvl 10 dodge rune, lvl 10 break and lvl 9 magic attacks.

Yeah. And for those of us in the real world... ;)

You'll have better luck with a flyswatter than having Smoulder in your lineup too soon. "Out of the box", he sucks.

meh.... I wish mage can do magic crit. so I can see 25K damage or something. Smoulder is just... weak. its depressing :(
