Loss of Treasure Maps

Earlier today I claimed my guild rewards and received a right treasure map. About an hour later (still during the same day, before the server refreshes) the map was gone. I told a fellow guild member this, and to their surprise, they discovered their map was gone too. I have not asked anyone else if their map magically disappeared, but we'd both like to know why our maps are gone. If it's just this once, it's not a big deal... but I certainly hope it doesn't happen again! Nontheless, loving the game so far.

This has been happening a lot lately on S2 also. Daily, we have +4 maps vanishing, even after claiming from guild following reset.

Happening on server 7 also.

It happened again, about two days after I posted. And just now it happened a third time. Can someone please get on top of this?
