No. Not likely to happen. Tynon hasn't done any special sales on gems based on real life events and they probably won't start now.
Tynon has never seen a Christmas so it is possible, like a half off would be amazing and they would get me to pay again, lol! I would love for it to snow in Aerie.
you know, I'd buy gems it doesn't require us CC.
I do not believe Evony had holiday events and it is the same people.

Evony had tons of holiday stuff!!! Every major holiday was celebrated with special offers, cheaper item, half price or 2-1 gem type stuff. They still do. It would be nice here too, as much stuff as has been frustrating to cope with, it would be an awesome thing for them to give us a little ray of sunshine.
