Championship Warfare Feedback
The first incarnation of the Championship Warfare has already concluded in Beta.
Here are some feedback I've gathered from those that participated in it:
1. The timing is the same as guild wars and is very inconvenient. Just remove Ragnarok during the times Championship Warfare is active and take its timeslot.
2. The ticket prices are too low for some items, like leader cards and bloodstorm's card. Even a spectator can win up to 3 or 4 leader cards just by betting normally and not participating in the championship at all.
3. The new heroes' cards are not part of the choices to be redeemed through tickets.
4. There should be a variety of prizes for the top winners. As it is, all the top 8 got the same amount of leader cards. There should be a different number for the 8-5th placers, the 3rd and 4th placer, the 2nd placer, and the winner.
An example layout could be:
8th-5th placers (Quarterfinalists): 4 leader cards, 5 purple stars, 1 random purple card, 2 random level 5 chips, 1 random set item from player's level
4th-3rd placers (Semifinalists): 6 leader cards, 10 purple stars, 1 random gold card, 2 random level 6 chips, 2 random set items from player's level
2nd placers (Runner-up): 8 leader cards, 20 purple stars, 1 King Theseus card, 2 random level 7 chips, 3 random set items from player's level
1st placer (Winner): 10 leader cards, 50 purple stars, 1 Aphrodite card, 2 random level 8 chips, 1 full set of items from player's level
5. Betting wins seem to big, as you win 1/4 of what the match winner gains, even if you don't use gems to win.
