I am on three west coats servers and will be fighting two players from east coast servers, and one from a west coast server.
in preliminaries is only timezone fighting server as i see untill now

when you bet, are you betting on the individual fight, the round with that player, or the final result of the preliminaries?

i thought you can lock in your formation/equipment and then change it to do HR, WB, rag, GW, etc. without worrying about the countdown.... doesn't appear to be the case. I've selected and locked my formation a few hours ago, then changed formation to do baal. I go back into championship and click my image and noticed my formation and gear have changed.
You can lock in a formation (heroes) but not gear and runes on them. So you need to have the heroes setup outside of the champ arena still. But you can have a different formation outside.

Yeah, you still fight all rounds even after you have won enough. Guess its to reduce the downtime for the players who are online. That or tynon doesn't understand the concept. Both are equally likely at this point.Quote:

So they've now broken the asia-pacific champ warfare too.
Its currently guild warfare and 30mins before champ battles are meant to take place for 2nd day of prelims and...
the whole game errors up, we come back and every single person is looking at knockout stage 2 and they are some random 20mil player 3ss.
Now its knockout stage 3, same dude with a bye again and we cant do anything.
At least they are getting creative in the way they break stuff now.
Edit: Looking foward to 5k tickets later on I guess.

Weird. Says I'm at Knockout Stage V against a player whose power is 452,753. Says I lost 4 times, and that "You drew a bye!" I'm 3,500,000 power. I can't have lost 4 times.

The note we got from Tynon says that CW was postponed for a day, but the cooldown clock has 148 hours in it. Did Tynon find a to squeeze more that 24 hours into a day ;)? I sure could use that.
They did test it, but it was a terrible test because they only used one server (the beta server) that came nowhere near getting even 512 players into it and there really is no way for them to test it in an actual cross-server environment except for trying it in live.Quote:

I assume that the CW went well last night. I say assume because when they reset the time to Wednesday it would not allow me or any of the members of my Guild in server 7 to join. At least they did refund the 10 Gems that my daughter had bet on Tuesday.
On server 8 we did not receive the ticket compensation btw.

I have 9400 tickets. No idea where they came from. I know that 2000 were for sighing up on Tuesday and it would not let me sigh up on Wednesday so the extra are either from the compensation of from whatever battles did happen on Tuesday or both.
2,000 first signup, 5,000 given by Tynon, 2,000 second signup. The remaining 400 are from the 2 battles you fought before everything went kaput. Or did you say you were not able to sign up? Maybe they screwed up the amount of tickets they gave. I saw someone claim two gold cards from the Chicken Wing shop. Would mean she had at least 16,000 tickets.Quote:
