Fix reputation - petition to tynon developers

Lets do a little thinking and math.... Since everyone now has 500k reputation for some (extremely foolish) reason, and it requires 1.2m rep to gain adamanti, that means the worst noob on the server needs 700k rep to unlock him. The average person gains around 300 reputation flat per day. This means that the average person will obtain adamanti after SIX YEARS of playing - proof : (700000 rep needed/300 avg per day/365 days per year = 6.39 YEARS) All ranks have been effectively LOCKED. Why? You failed to test a patch before launching it. Please fix this or you will be losing the bulk of your paying players. You have turned the TOP players posessing the unobtainable cards into gods, DESTROYED the middle class players, and given every noob 600k power. THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM. Did you forget to multiply the gains with the COSTS? Yes you did... You need to ROLL BACK the server to Dec 6. Place the patch on a BETA server and FIX it before releasing it. Look at the 16k upkeep per day on Marshal. It such a joke... not even the biggest donater could upkeep 16k a day. Can I get a DEV to respond to this thread please?

300 rep a day?? I assume you aren't counting gains from world bosses. Oh and it was on a beta server and I'm pretty sure the rep requirements were even higher at one point on the beta server.

And? So what... it's still broken.

300 rep a day? do you even try? I get 6-7k a day and others get more then that, the average player gets more then 300 rep a day. But I agree the rep requirements are too high
I would like to see marshall reduced to 2m and a better hero on it and general be 1m colonel down to 800k etc

Speaking as one whom is unable to attend any event that occurs after 2PM getting more then 1500 a day or so is somewhat difficult unless I get 1st in Cerebus. I don't mind the 400k to get from Adamantine to Bloodstorm. I find that reasonable. Its the 2k rep a day I have to pay for the rank that ... rankles. Seriously, I don't know if I am going to be able to even make enough a day to pay for that.

Even farming the Arena is only 7 or 8 rep a win, which is insignificant.

From what i've seen so far, upkeep still doesn't affect active players.

As I am at work during cerb and baal, they are out. I do rag, I do the arena, I do the lab and I do not get 1k rep a day. Even on the weekends when I can do cerb and ball, not always possible as I have a life, I get about 400 rep from each. So, assuming a player does both every day, about 800, lab 80 a day, rag if they are an average player 300 and the arena insignificant. So based on me as an average player about 1200 a day. As a major my upkeep is 1k a day, so the net gain is 200 a day. To gain the 270k I need to unlock adamanti will take 1350 days, any of you ever played a game that long? To shorten it you cannot have a life or you have to spend. This whole upgrade is about making players spend more and nothing else. Tynon has got greedy just as most of these companies do.

OK what if you don't have the time or resources to play so high a level then don't. Don't force yourself its no good for you I am happy as a Major so what if I don't go up don't let the game dictate you. The game its ment to let you enjoy not give you hardship and stress. If you want hardship and stress just stay at work I am sure your co-workers and bosses are more than willing to give you some extra hardship and stress.

The new upkeep requirements seem ok.


Not everyone can be general or marshal. That's what people need to accept and understand.

Yah what herby say is right is everybody general that who be the grunts? hehe So let those with no life other than this game the chance to be generals.

I guess your position is OK if you already got adamanti and bloodstorm. But if not you're stuck.

Oh, and as everyone is a major anyway, the grunt argument is more than spurious, it is ridiculous.

ok first 300 rep a day? what are you doing then? playing 5 minutes? (guessing this is not a server you started yesterday..)

second upkeep 16k? is can be maintained.. if you have 5 x 20% more rep gain city's + some guild benefits with extra rep gain..

third i have to agree with the middle class being destroyed.. its abit much to give

Yup.
Every player on every server is in a guild that controls all 5 rep cities.
Thus we all can maintain that rep. [/end sarcasm]

He was talking about the players who don't spend a ton of cash on the game.
He was talking about the players who don't have 16 hours of free time per day to logon and babysit the game.
The average player. Not the end gamers.
End gamers aren't affected by these changes. Average players are.
Coiners can buy their way around any roadblocks. Bribery is alive and well in gaming. Tynon is no exception.
Those of us who spend very little on the game are the ones who suffer the most from poorly implemented changes.
The Rune Temple limit is one change that affected nearly all of us equally.
Is there anyone who, truthfully, likes that change?
Apply your feelings about that change to the new change concerning rep. That's how most of us feel.
It doesn't make me want to pay to play. I doubt that it makes anyone want to pay.
With the new heroes from the "Family" challenges, rep heroes are nearly pointless anyway. As a goal.

I'm saying that the players who have them unlocked get to keep them. The players who HAVEN'T unlocked them won't be able to unlock them for years at this rate of rep.

Also... I have just realized that coiners can buy the non-rep requirement cards from the fair for 7-900 gems. My friend went from 8m-12m power with 800 gems lol. It seems there is a problem with the new cards vs the old ones in power too.

This isn't an argument against donations or "coiners" though I don't want it convoluted into that. It's an argument against the new reputation scheme. Just imagine being a player that started today. You don't get the 500k rep gift. You will never get 500k rep. I have gained 25k rep since I started the game 3 weeks ago. My good friend is a "coiner" and he only had 275k over a month. The amount of reputation needed to attain the higher levels are still wrong... unless the "Championship Arena" has huge reputation awards for entering. Otherwise it's still just another separator dividing top/middle/beginner.

The problem with that train of thought is you seem to forget those of us busted azz and took the time and trouble to earn
the titles BEFORE this update and went without the earned right to roll a hero of the appropriate caliber. I earned the general
title but now have to go through about 250K rep in order to regain it. That's fair and right???? NOT!

Aren't you even glad that there's a new title above General to strive to achieve?
Don't you think that all your rep points being earned since you achieved General was all for naught?

EVERYONE was given the new rep requirements, and starts out on even footing.
Complain if you were the only person who got downgraded a title.

250k rep will only take a few weeks to regain. Stop complaining and start fighting harder in the arena, banish events, and ragnarok.

On last rep increase I was the only one on server to be colonel. My rep upkeep jumped from 1k to 5k. Then on top I would lose 5k rep every time I coined. Tynon done nothing. Petition is useless. They do as they please and will continue to do so until new laws are passed governing online gaming.
Everyone is in same boat here. So just knuckle down and earn what you need.

I agree with this petition.

it feel impossible for us in the later server because we fight over the cities. right now, there are 2 realms gang up on us. so we can only afford 20% rep city. and the other 2 realm benefit from this.

I have been monitoring my rep gains since the patch and on day 1 gained 24k (grand invest, banish x 2, arena rep cap, rag and palace), day 2 18k (no palace), day 3 20k (no rag), day 4 17k (no rag). I am currently general with 2189k rep. It seems fine to me, long way to go but at current rate ± 80 days to marshal is acceptable.

P.S. gaining 3800-4500 rep per 250m banish and 900-1200 rep per rag excl guild buffs and tech.

its a joke all this **** on reputation it needs sorting 3.8m rep away from new gold hero... took me nearly a year to get 700k rep, sort it or alot of ppl r gonna quit.

lol all high powerd ppl will think its fine you set of idiots...destroyed game for low class n middle class players...fix it or ppl will quit trust me.

Please stop lying. It did not take you nearly a year. The game has only been live for about 5 and a half months.

Not everyone is meant to be General or Marshal. Live with it.

I don't know what server you are on, but the one i'm on (2), doesn't give anything near 3800-4500 reps for banish!! I'm lucky to get 1200 for placing in 1-3rd, (+1200) for buffs. And that is only for top 3 places, most don't fall in that category. I think your numbers are a bit off.

People on the new servers will gain mass rep due to the lack of people taking part

I am on server 8 and lucky to have a relatively inactive realm lately, I do 100m dmg in a banish = ± 4500 rep minus guild tech and city buffs.

good luck, I agree with you. The same thing happened on our server (#5), and I had unlocked Blood and Andy, and now they are locked away again. But hey, you can buy reps for gems, and gems for real money, which is all Tynon cares about. Your money into their pockets.

I was 200 reps away from Adamanti and had the spirit tokens saved to get him and this "patch" destroyed everything I worked so hard for...now I gotta wait prolly 2 months to get the reps needed for something I was on the brink of. I am taking a beating from those that beat the patch and got Adamanti. I wrote support about it and got a form letter back to which I responded I didn't want a form response; I wanted a personal response and have still got nothing back! Everyone playing should have been pro-rated their reps so as not to be "punished" for working hard but not quite getting there. I am a coiner and I can promise Tynon I will NEVER spend another penny on this game on any of my 7 accounts and am very close to just leaving for good. Tynon is all about money and don't give a crap who they screw to get it...WORST PATCH EVER!!!
