I'm sure many of my guild members (myself included) DID NOT know that guilds warfare was going to be an hour earlier, so we missed it. Shame on you Tynon for not allowing us to do all of assistant.
And to top it off, we lost a city because of this BS. I'm really furious now.
Cool I see big compensation to all servers? We are not greedy just 500gems would do what u think guys?
Very true.. our guild members are really sad today because of these changes especially guild war timings, we lost a city because of that as most our our players were not online. This is wrong about Tynon... they didn't even informed us. If it still happens again than with me... pretty sure many others would quit this game and look for some other games.
Guildwar is very important on each server... they should think thoroughly before making any changes to the time for it. The right time to bring changes to these events was when the daylight savings started or when it will end... as that is the time when we look for a change but no not now please!!
I like this game and want to stick to it but we need some cooperation from Tynon too
I am not at all sure Tynon meant, or even knew, the times had been changed. Certainly no difference in the Weekly events box. I think it is just another example of tynon software engineering. My children even refers to things messed up as being 'tynonised'
The very least they could have done, was to change the times in the Daily Event box, so we would be informed.
Tynon ~ please make up your minds on time for events!! GW is a guild activity!! and putting it an hour early with NO notice is just screwing with us. Many were not online, getting home from work, cooking dinner, etc. This affects the outcome of the war, in some cases. To you it may be just a function of moving a few pixels around to suit whatever you are changing, switching RAG and GW, but it is not right. It is listed in Guild Events to play at 8pm, not 7. The bids closed early, preventing some from bidding on time. Then it goes on an hour early.
My guess is to move them to accomodate the upcoming Championship Warfare, but would it not be ok, as there is plenty of time left, to do that with notice, before that begins? The unnounced changes just keep piling up.
Today on server 7 we had GW at 7 and Rag at 8.
On server 30 today rag was 6, not the usual 7 or even the 8 of last few days. When will Tynon gets its act together? A bunch of dummys.
Today Rag started at 6 on server 7.
So, tonite Rag started @6pm., GW followed @7pm. Many were not on, not home from work yet. No notice. This is really annoying. More were ready,(after 3 days of off sched), but if this is moving to make room for a Championship Warfare, that is only occasionally, and does not need constant monitoring, it's messing with RL schedules. It is hard enough to get home, get some dinner (or not) and get on to play for many. Yes some are here, but the Championship could run simultaneously with Noble Lady with very little disturbance. That event is very slow, and with reward not so low, hardly worth an hour. Really wish they'd make up their minds, and try to work with RL in mind.
Some notice would be nice too.
personally
i think the championship should be broken up and do some rounds one weekend
then other rounds the next weekend
make it take 2 or 3 weeks
only on weekends though
This makes it easier for everyone to be around and then it can be say at 4 pm and not mess up real life work schedules
Host/VH shoulda of noticed time change while doing battle planning. Sent out a GM and you wouldn't of had this problem. Somewhere in the ToS there will be that line about things being changed/removed without warning. Nothing much can be done here. Just hope they change it.
it was TYNONISED!
starting to.... hate this
I just missed 14 rounds for Ragnarok. It started an hour early, again (so it started at 18:00) I was online at 18:00 because I knew it might start early. It's just that the Rag icon never appeared in my icon list, nor did the notification for the event appear.
Fact is there are two sections of icons in the upper screen, and you can switch between them by clicking the yellow arrow. If you're not in the right section, you don't see the icon.
That normally wouldn't be a problem, but because event times keep changing, I didn't think of looking into the other section.
EDIT: I knew it was ragnarok because someone achieved an 8 kill streak
The events list on server 3 now shows ragnorak as 6-7 pm and GW starting at 7 pm.
Rag was at 6PM.
The time IS shown -- it says "Battle starts in xxxxxx." I sent a message out to my guild notifying them of the time change. Also, you can see it in the DAILY EVENTS what time it starts at (the DAILY EVENTS tab has been updated with the new times, indicating that this change is likely to be permanent).
if they're going to change things like this, however, they should send out a server mail in order to inform everybody. they shouldn't make major changes to the game and not inform everyone.
The problem is that people purposely joined servers that would sync up with their daily lives and work schedules. I have many guild members who work and go to school and just shoving things an hour early makes it impossible for them to be active during the events now. They already miss the day events but have been able to hang on because they can participate at night.
People have spent a lot of time building their characters, we can't just change servers. Move Noble Lady or something like that which is more individual and doesn't give assistant credit. Guild wars moving like this can just kill a guild where people actually work for a living. Missing Noble Lady isn't a morale-killer. Missing guild wars most certainly is.
Completely agree Subliminal!!! I am on central time server, but actual RL time is 1 hr earlier. To have these events pushed up 1 hr makes them happen before the end of workday for so many. Travel time, dinner time, family time are just when Rag and GW are. Noble Lady is a very slow hour, and for 1 mil credits, no contributions, would not be a huge loss for many players. And now there is a whole hour empty 8-9 server time, that is empty!!! Makes no sense whatsoever to me, in our timezone.
