I have just heard that 1-3 do not cost gems, only Stamina. But this has only been mentioned by a few people. The rest have the same as I do.

This is for the 5th Lab unlocked through VIP, my guild is still lvl 5, we don't have the free lab option as yet.

That sounds like what it would be for anyone reaching VIP9+. It follows a logical sequence of cost. I am not convinced that is the "free lab chance" for city buff 7. We are close to getting that city buff. I am not VIP9, so i will try it for myself. I sure wish we'd get more formal answer to this. If it were, who could reach it? Can't be... or it's not a buff/benefit.

I agree with you, but I can assure you that this is what they are calling the "buff".
I have been VIP7 for quite some time and always have had 4 labs a day available to me. After the patch, myself and many others who are in a level 7 guild have an extra "chance" at a lab run. I now have (5) displayed on my lab icon.

1- 30 Stamina
2- 60 Stamina
3- 60 Stamina + 10 Gems
4- 60 Stamina + 20 Gems (confirmed)
5- 60 Stamina + 40 Gems (confirmed)
6- ?
7- ?

What I propose -

1- 30 Stamina (Maybe even free)
2- 30 Stamina
3- 60 Stamina
4- 60 Stamina + 10 Gems
5- 60 Stamina + 20 Gems
6- 60 Stamina + 40 Gems
7- 60 Stamina + 80 Gems

As you can see, after 5 labs you have used 240 Stamina + 30 Gems and unless you purchase stamina, you cannot use the last few runs, which is okay because the first few are reasonable. I believe this would be the best solution to the issue.

This buff doesn't offer anything "free" and therefore is not a buff at all. Like I said earlier, it's very poor wording by the dev's. This is an argument that is being fought in several other threads though. The main reason for this one was to find out the costs as high as they go. If anyone knows any VIP9+'s I'd like to know. I agree Deuc ~ I would propose that it work as it was advertised before we spent umpteen Guild funds and many weeks wait: 1-Free 2 - 30 3 - 60 .. and so on.
This is the only way it is a buff and available to all guild members. Any non-VIPs can't reach it any other way. (VIPs really can't afford the stamina, let alone gems for it either) Honestly - where is the logic here? And since patch.. stamina is the most precious commodity.

Yup, in a nearly perfect Tynon world, the text would have been correct and this buff would have put a 100% free lab available to anyone in FRONT of the default labs you already have. Though I am beginning to feel like this is a waste of typing at this point lol ;)
