Suds's Ultimate Guide to Tynon (Help for newbs and vets)
I decided to make this guide to help people get better at this game and even learn something along the way.
Runes
Runes are probably one of the best ways to gain power in Tynon.
Their are 5 rune keepers. The first 3 one give green, blue,or untouchable.
Their are different colors and higher the color the better the effect their will be.
1.Green
2.Blue
3.Purple
4.Yellow/Gold
Their are also Runes i call the Untouchables which you mostly get from low level Rune-keepers that you can't use only sell.
You can level up Runes by combing them together. You cant combine higher level rune with a low level one. Exp. you cant combine a Purple with a Yellow and let the Purple get the exp
Their are different runes that you can get from the keeper i don't have a list right now but, maybe in the future.
Stats
This are all the stats in Tynon that can be boosted from Runes or leveling up.
Here is a list and everthing they do compliments of CaptainBinkles
HP: Health Points, how much damage your hero can suffer before dying.
Physical Attack: Pretty self Explanatory, how much physical damage your hero does.
Physical Defense: How much mitigation your champion has against physical attacks.
Skill Attack: How much damage is caused my your hero's specific skill.
Skill Defense: How much mitigation your champion has against other skills
Magic Attack: How much magical damage your hero deals.
Magic Defense: How much mitigation your champion has against magic attacks.
Critical: The chance your hero has to inflict a critical attack. (I'm guessing this is 2x damage, but I'm not 100% sure)
Resilience: The defense your hero has AGAINST Criticals. A hero with high resilience is LESS likely to be DEALT a critcal strike
Dodge: The chance your hero has to dodge an attack from an enemy
Hit Rating: The chance your hero has to accurately hit an enemy. A hero with high hit is LESS likely to be DODGED by the enemy.
Block: The chance your hero has to block an enemy attack (Blocks are usually coupled with a counterattack as well)
Break: The chance your hero has to ignore the enemy's block. A hero with high break is LESS likely to be BLOCKED by an enemy.
Heroes
Heroes one of the major pains of Tynon. Takes alot of luck, credits, and looks like its rigged.
Just like Runes their are different colors for Heroes aswell.
1.White
2.Blue
3.Purple
4.Gold
The higher the color the more the power and the better the special attacks. For example Lilli can stun and Calvin can lower Morale. (Nice effects)
My Advice? Good luck and make sure you have enough credits to recruit them as well......(cries)
Formations
Baal/Cerb Formation:
You should always put your main hero in the back if you can because he usually is the one that does the most damage.
General Formations:
Everyone has a personal perference for their here is mine for example
5=Tank 2= Main
45 4= Mage 1=Stunner
123 3=Mixed tanky atack
Heroes Definitons
In this section i will explain the names i gave to my heros.
Tank=Lots of hp,defensive runes block, dodge, etc.Should be in the front of your formation. The best one i find is Saffron/Gorn the Maker because of her special abilty.
Mage= Your mage quite simply put. Some people make their tanks i wouldn't recommend it. This includes Smoulder,Shayd, other blues
Stunner= Any hero that could stun. Only 2 are Cianna/Lilly Shayd/Karthus
Main= ALWAYS make your main is an attacker and tanky
Attacker= Does the damage. Physical/Magic attack, morale runes etc. Any hero really.
Mixed= You mix any of these together on one hero
Revenge/Player Farming
When Tynon first came out this was very efficient but now its mostly patched.
All you basically do is hit player then revenge them for extra coins/credits.
If you want me to touch on anything just holla on here and i will add to this.
I'm out!!!
Boarding a boat in the Caribean
A lot of people complain that their map is stolen in the Caribbean before they can sail. If you follow this procedure you minimize that happening.
- Never board a boat until ready to sail.
- Use the Guild chat to find a partner to sail with.
- Agree on a boat to use.
- Agree on who boards first. It should be the stronger player so that if attacked while sailing he/she gets to fight first. That has the best chance to defeat the attacker.
- Go to the Caribbean screen (if not already there) and place your mouse cursor over the circle that corresponds to your map half (left or right side of the boat) that you have.
- The player that boards last says 'Ready' on the Guild chat.
- The other player boards and as soon as the boat turns green the player that boards last clicks to board.
This minimizes the amount of time that the player that boards first is vulnerable to have the map stolen. When attacked before sailing only the player on board at that time defends. When attacked after sailing both players defend.
If you attack a player that has not sailed and successfully steal the map click on the green circle as soon as you can so you unboard the boat. This way no one can steal the map from you.
DO NOT click on the chat while on the Caribbean. The chat window is transparent there and you are clicking on the boat that is under it and therefor you may board it or attack the player that has already boarded. If you do and board the boat (the boat turns green and your name and guild name appears above the boat) intermediately click again to unboard. If you attacked the player that already on board then there is nothing that you can do but watch the fight and hope that you win.
