i'm assuming they didn't calculate enough server space to support all the processing power they were going to need for this....
its it a rest guys. alteast something is happening than nothing right. for once they decided to do something different.

Oh its different alright, I don't understand the new server opening when they cannot make the ones already here work properly, so many glitches, they keep adding but not fixing,
what will happen is a lot will just tire of the lag, the glitches and the total B.S. and leave. Which I don't think matters to them as there counting on a percentage of the populous to try it at least spend their 40 pieces of silver and leave anyway.
No seriously. Epic fail. Doing nothing would be better than doing something terribly wrong. Can't imagine how GW is turning out right now. Shouldn't this have been tested at a less popular time?
In hindsight, they should have setup a new 20 machine server farm for the championship. Hiring those monkeys to work out the results of the fights on an abacus isn't working too well.

This was nothing to do with server capacity - it was CRAP DESIGN and CODE. Battle sequencing is just a few lines of code - trivial. They have archetecture issues syncing servers across worlds with other game play. AMATEURISH. ENTIRE SOFTWARE TEAM SHOULD BE FIRED for not testing this CRAP.Quote:
