Yes you are, and therefor have had the same amount of time to accumulate your power as the players that are winning these CWs. But the way they have these CWs set up, it is not showing who are the best players, just who are the oldest?Quote:

All, I wanted to suggest, was that they have an event that will give newer server players the same chance to get nice rewards, as this CW is giving older server the chance for these rewards!
If you want to suggest anything remotely sane (just my thoughts).
I'd group it by vip level, that's the single biggest factor in power levels past 2 months into the game. As all you do is spend time waiting on cds and gems fix the time issue.

To make things fair, I believe they should group CWF into server brackets instead of timezones.
Then find a neutral timezone to hold CWF.
Servers 1-10, 11-30, 31-60, 61-most recent.
A neutral timezone example would be:
8am CST
10pm Asia/Australia
2pm Europe

You do realize that not every high lvl player is in the first 20 servers? You would have some players who can make it to the quarter finals and even the finals in the current CW system with very little if any competition in the 21-60 servers and again in the 61- current servers.Quote:

Tynon stated they wanted to have a CW to see who was the strongest? They did that, and rewarded those that got far in the CW handsomely. Congrats to them. But having more CWs setup exactly the same way is going to reward the same players again and again?. Is that what Tynon is intending here? If so, then the Tynon staff members playing/top players from the older servers of course, have a much greater influence than they should?

At the current system it will leave a huge gap between the top players and the rest ( at the moment there is already a gap). This is a sure quick way to drive the mass out and kill the game off. I am pretty sure the top players would also like to play against each other of different time zones to test themselves. Everyone needs to be challenged but at the same time the end goal has to be achievable otherwise you ask yourself the question why bother.
There is no quick fix for this hence ideas are run through. With the attitude of Hjam we will end up with a handful playing this game and if that is what we want then yes just sit and do nothing :D

Don't get me wrong it is a great event as we get to see diff strategies of the top players. No one wants this event removed just trying to discuss where there can be a balance of the event. Yes and even by some miracle we come up with a solution I know that hell will freeze over before they implement it, but it is still good to discuss it.
Games like these work on short term profit margins so as soon as this event looses it interest it will come up with another money making event. To judge the success of an event look at all the frustration people had when the game crashed and was not working and then they came up with their brilliant compensation ( sarcasm) . But all that went away once the event started. I bet there is a politician amongst the game management lol.
Yes they will make money as it has the potential to be a great game.
I love the cw, but if its weekly then this won't work out, it takes up alot of time and planning. I can do it once a month, but simply don't have the time to dedicate to weekly cw. I also don't like the fact that it overlap with guild wars.Quote:

I think the defensive runes and skills are not balanced well to counter the Adam canonball to be honest.
Flint can only go up to 10 at the moment and the talent doesn't offer much counter to the skill attack.

How about it based on vip levels. Like vip 3 and below /vip 4to 6 /7 to 9/ and 10 to 12. With the higher vip levels getting higher prizes.
How about breaking the US tournament down into 3 separate timezones? At least more players will get a chance to make it further and get rewarded then. There are far more players in the US tournament than the others, breaking it down into the 3 timezones would help with time issues in addition to allowing more players a chance to get further.
On the other hand, a solution to the card rewards problem discussed earlier would be to award cards by rep, just like spirit plans are awarded by level. Make it so the card you get is the card that is unlocked from the next title to be reached. For example, Colonels would get KT and Generals and Marshals can get Aphrodite.
I just logged in to server 2 and saw that bubbaslab had aphrodite in his formation but he was only genral title
He won her with the CW and gets to use her before reaching the needed title joker.

It is sad that a server outtage has tarnished results in the semi-final rounds of this season 3 US Championship. I know Bubbaslab was set to win his series against Tinhyeu. He has been in my bracket every time since season 1! Nastiest Adamanti I have ever seen! Was in the bag. But poor Tin never stood a chance. The servers came up 15 mins before the semi-final rounds and Tin was never online to prepare. Sad. And no compensation has been given as of yet to anyone. :(
