I keep getting the not-so-good heroes/stuff on Heaven Tavern. There's this time when the cards don't move at all and another time when they switch. I have wasted countless credits trying to sanctify my heroes.

You aren't the only one.
I'm sure you'll get used to it. We all are. Its all not bad though. You'll still get spirit points that you can redeem heroes that you want though. Save up all your credits and do it every tuesday! :D
Only time I spend credits in Tavern at this point is if I don't have a Talent cooldown imminent or I don't need to unlock another rune slot on someone. Its getting rare for me to bother wasting valuable credits on something with such a massively poor return rate.
Once you admit to yourself that the card you pick does not make any difference because the result is determined before you even pick a card, and that is the way it works, your frustration will go away if you just pick the card that is above the shuffle button every time and forget about the order of the cards before and after.
The card you pick, if you don't get it, will always be one spot to the left or right of where it was. With the results determined before you pick the card, you just gotta hope you get lucky.
Heaven Tavern is obviously fixed, so you use up all your credits making you want to buy more with gems which you have to buy more with real money. Once in a while you get luck after spending like a billion creds though to get a good card.
Spend gems for credits... I don't do that very much and still get a good sized pile for tavern tuesday.
Like everyone else. Just pick middle card everytime. Stars are the same way. remeber you can redeem tokens 5 for credits and also from tickets. Never use gems to buy credits. Your better off resetting a cooldown timer than buying credits on something uncertain....
Nothing new here, Yes, the Tavern sucksssss, and yes the pick isn't random but predetermined. Like the others said, I only play on Tuesday, I know it is going to suck(Hell since the patch I have only gotten two purples cards and no golds and one of those failed). If you just save up for the week you should have plenty of credits without spending any money and the spirits at least will add up.
I got 6 purple cards, a blue card, and enough spirits to buy an adam card just today....it's not all that bad...
Nice one Jupitor!! I have gotten about 10 blue cards. LOL Not one useful purple or gold, and i find they are very short on coming so spirits grow very.... very ..... s l o w l y. Used to be better. (Pre-patch days)
The card is NOT always 1 spot to the left or right of where it was...that is totally untrue!
I have always, even before the patch, worked on the assumption that I will not get any card, especially one I want, so only take note of how the spirits are building up. And if I should get something from the tavern then it is a bonus. Once I took that position I stopped getting frustrated with the Tavern. I will never love it because it is so unbalanced, I know players who keep getting cards but that is life.
lol it dosent matter where you click, the tavern is heavily rigged, and you wont get a card before the game decide to, unless ofc you roll all gold heroes then you get a card.......I think
The only way to win with the Tavern is to be a heavy VIP going by every Tuesday. Now its been diluted with even more Blue Heroes only thing to achieve from spending all your credits is spirit points to get the hero you want and pray it doesn't fail. Either way, only way to win is to part with your hard earned cash..
I've thought, this is a special treatment for non-payers. Perhaps you must have a VIP-status to get a chance...
Whether you are VIP or not has no affect on the odds in the tavern.
You surely are not the only one. The only thing this game is about is to make you spend. I issued that with good arguments and they close the topic. uCool are only there to tempt you and make you want more, so you would get tempted to buy. So this Tavern is just to waste your credits, hoping you will fall into the trap of buying gems to get more credits, hoping to change your chances in the game. Please, just do not bother it. This game is not fair. Just try to make the best of it, but do not spent too much money on it, since it will only make you feel even worse in the end. I spent lots of dollars and also did not get what I was hoping for. So VIP will not get you better chances in the Tavern. You better wait for the right moment to get that hero you want. I gave up purchasing credits for the tavern and just flip once, since flipping cards twice can only cost money, but never gave me a good hero. I also spend the credits I got mainly in upgrading the talents for the heroes I have. This is more beneficial.
Indeed, such a waste of money it was for me, that I stopped using this option. I used it several times, lost about 150 gems that way and never got that hero I hoped for. This option is really only a way to rip you off. Better spend those gems opening rune slots.
Tavern is so tight now it's not even worth bothering with anymore; they slowly ruining this game.
ya its really bothering u
The return rate is far too poor in heaven's tavern to even justify buying gems to purchase credits (not to mention that credits cost more than gold). I must have spent well over 30mil credits just to get one purple card.
30 million credits should get you an Adamanti card or at least close. BTW I am talking about buying with spirits and getting the spirits on Tavern Tuesday. If you buy a card along the way that is a lot of credits saved assuming it is for a hero you use (or plan to use) or one that you are building up to later transfer from.
I just had 20 fails on Adamanti going from Angel V to Archangel I. Yes, TWENTY fails. lol.
I can't believe it. I wonder how many fails it takes from Archangel V to Dominion I.
