Greetings!
With the onset of Championship Warfare, we're going to be moving Guild Warfare and Ragnarok to times that are more convenient for players and we want your input on it! Currently, Ragnarok is 6-6:50 pm and Guild Warfare is 7-7:30 pm. Please let us know what time change works best for you!

The times were changed when CWF first started
Rag is at 6 server and GWF is at 7 Server
Many of us have said how much we hate this.
We picked our time zones based upon when events were scheduled.
I for one would love GWF moved back to 8pm Server. Move CWF around. BUt leave GWF alone.
I think if CWF was broken down into 5 championships instead of 3, things would be easier to manage time zone wise. ALso break it down so CWF runs a max of 1 hour. SO 4 fights a day. Then you can moev everything to its orginally scheduled time with CWF starting at 7pm server
And if you have to have cwf be 90 mins then move GWF to 830 server.
This would be the simplest solution I think to make timing easier on both the Dev teams part and the players part.
The later, the better.
I don't see any issues with 9pm onwards for events, seeing as most people work during the day.
Hopefully the second banish time can also be made later than 3pm.

I see you edited your original post to have the correct times now.
Could you also add in with teh voting options when CWF would be if Rag and GWF were at the specified times, because I think that matters as well to many of us

I think this is a bad idea. The fact that there are 3 separate CWFs right now already consolidate the prizes to a very small pool of players who keep on winning each CWF round.Quote:

Herby I agree with you, however I suggest that we have the 5 championships to determine the winners and have the top 8 of each compete to find the BEST of the BEST which i think would be easier logistically and hopefully prevent the time of this championship being while the BEST is asleep or at workQuote:

Semi and quarterfinalists shouldn't get anything anymore in this setup.
If we change the times, then other servers will get the crappy time period. Right now some servers have GUILD WARS and CHAMPIONSHIP WARFARE at the same times. But if you change the time of the two events to make these servers happy, other servers will instead have two events at the same time.
I vote NO CHANGE.
How about just no rewards for anyone in the overall championship except bragging rights - they all got rewards for winning their own time zoneQuote:

Another thing I would suggest, if CWF is staying from 8PM - 9 whatever... (usually around 9:30 for the first 2/3 days), can CWF and NL be staggered so they are not kicking off on the 5s? Make one on the 5s and maybe one on the 7s or 8s?

For the Asia Pacific servers the issue is only CWF pushing into Noble Lady, rather than Rag or GW. (Well some people miss GW as its too early now but there is no overlap.)Quote:

Tynon has a serious problem with West Coast Servers overlapping Guild Wars and Ragnarok. If you shift the time forward one hour, then guild wars end up even MORE screwed. Better for West Coat servers to have both Ragnarok and Guild wars start later. Two hours later causes Guild War to overlap with noble Lady. Pushing Ragnarok and (especially) Guild Wars back one hour would permit West Coast Players to participate in all events.
Ragnarok needs updated,the credits and rep you get from it makes you wonder why people dont care if they miss it.
I never play, too much of a hassle for the system with the low amount of rewards.
Rag during CW would be too much for most browsers I would think.
It is already making the system lag like crazy as it is.
I am fine with how it is done now. No interference with CW.

European and asian servers really ahve no issues with the current setup. Except that maybe this has incinvenience them with the fact GWF is not the same time as when many started the server.

Eastern USA servers main issues are
1. Noble Lady is at same time as CWF
2. It moved GWF to a new time which mau mak eit hard for many players to do GWF - same as Eurpoean and Asian
Central USA servers have CWF starting in between GWF and NL so they have some overlap with NL and once again teh issues of GWF not at the same time teh server started so many people may not be able to do GWF
Western USA servers have it the worse since CWF happens during GWF for them I believe so they have an issue
This is why the CWF needs broken down in the USA time zines so we each have our own and the event can be scheduled to not interfere with anything
CHAMPIONSHIP WARFARE in my opinion, would be more fun if you grouped fights nearer to each server number. Hate when first round is a long time player and you know you have no chance of a win. This would give out rewards more equally and make it much more interesting to watch in early rounds.
I think what they shoudl do is this:
Normal Tourney:
Players who sign up here are under level 60 and 5mil power.
Experienced Tourney:
Players who get signed in here are over elvel 60 and br is 5mil to 10mil
Pro tourney;
Have pro tourneys for all players over 10mil set up like this;
Pro 1 - 10-20mil
pro 2 20 - 30mil
pro 3 30-40mil
pro 4 40-50mil
and so on.
Then all the winners of a tournament auto progress into the next one.
The current timing works perfectly since many players on my server are on the East Coast and this server is a West Cost server. The previous timing was a pain, since the change we have much more participation in guild wars from all the guilds on my server.
Change the times back to what they were before CWF.
TBH I no longer care. With all the changes it has gotten to the point that you game is different from morning to evening. Example: No more tavern tuesday at least it was not working on the 14th. Many ppl save credits all week for that event and they got robbed. A few days notice would have been nice.
BTW just wondering who the ppl are on the HR top 3 now?? I don't think these ppl listed are even on our server.
I was in CW on two servers, at the same time as Ragnarok. As soon as Ragnarok started, i crashed. I was able to recover and adjust one formation but not for the other server.
No change picked my server for the time and wish it to stay that way
As only the biggest and oldest players from earlier servers seem to be winning championship warfare all the time...the disparity between those that have and those that have not will become ever greater! Eventually what will happen...is that players that have not will no doubt start contemplating finding games where they actually have a chance of progression. How about offering up a small rewards package to all players that progress through each of the knockout stages? You could do away with the stupendous rewards currently on offer for first place altogether then :-). You could start with a pack containing 100 gems, 5 maze tokens, 5 blue stars & 1 random purple hero card etc...and work up the prizes for making it through to the next round till you get to first place prize of 5,000 gems, 75 maze tokens & 5 randomly selected gold hero cards and 1 leader card. Please understand...these are only as a guide, and not that it'll make much difference to the outcome in the championship i currently play in as Firie guild seem to have that pretty much sewn up as the same player has won every event so far to date. Alternatively, once a person has won the event, they should be excluded from further participation for a period of four months from the date they win it! This would ensure fairness to all, and not just a select few from the older/oldest servers, thus enticing growth and progression on all servers!!

You can't exclude winners from competing again. These are the top coiners usually, and letting them not participate is bad business.
My suggestion is to split CWF into different brackets, mixing things up each month for variety.

CWF should be broken into 5 Brackets. Those brackets should then be displayed on the Tynon homepage. Players would have the option to join whatever one they wanted, as each one would be Time Zone Specific. This way you give the player full control over his/her own time. All prizes are the same, but rotate each CWF interval, Twice a month, not every week.

That is a valid observation Herby! How about this then? Move all winners into a seperate warfare event! They fight it out for grander prizes/bragging rights...and thus frees up opportunities for other players to grab a slice of the pie, and progress as well?Quote:
