so today started the new heroics thing here we get to see who defeats who in the realm. and the first downs changed.
im wondering tho, why when i havnt beat veleno, do i have to beat one thats 133 mil power... yet the first down from a different server beat his/hers at 104 mil power?
how is this fair?
Newer servers may have smaller bosses allowing faster progression.
We all know how tynon is noob friendly.
i did wonder that.. but other heroics are the same that i have looked at so far.
for e.g the mayor has the same power as us.
but lightbringer heroics are all higher power....
Most of them that i have seen that beat the boss from 1st down - 3rd down are from older servers before the patch came and upped the power of boss's.

agreed on this.. i always found the replays helpful from the bigger guys, now i get to watch people who beat it pre patch when it was a smaller power. and not from people i associate with or can ask questions too. i dont understand the fixing something that isnt broke scenario.Quote:

Actually for server 6 they have new players with less then half my power, gear and runes and they have some of the new toons. They are beating the boss I can't even come close too beating which is really weird. Guess I'll just have to keep spamming him.
Why change it when they are still going to be showing fights from before the elite bosses had their power increased?
It would be nice if the past wins for the Heroic Realm Bosses were updated regularly. Maybe one a week, once a day would be ever better :) That way when the bosses change, we have an updated way to beat them as well.
I think they should wipe the current replays clean. It will suck, especially for those who have their name listed, but I think it is the easiest way. Unless Tynon wants to dedicate resources to separate "old replays" from current, useful replays...which would be even better, I think.Quote:

The battle views are there to help other players with formations who are also trying to beat that boss. The bosses are changed frequently. It only makes sense that the top 3 views change as well. There is no help watching a set up that will not work because the skills on the heros have changed.
Prime example is Cianna. She was used on many bosses because of her skill to stun. That was changed drastically. Someone watching a set up that included her from 2 months ago, would not be able to duplicate it.
actually people are now (powering down) removing heroes and rebeating heroics so there names could be up there but thats a 80m player using 3 heroes so he has 30m power and then beats boss no one can copy that no use there.Quote:

these are pointless. and tbh tynon fixing something that wasnt broke.. ive searched and i cant find anywhere .. where people have moaned about heroic replays. so why they felt it needed to be done. its pathetic.. another proof tynon just does what it wants and not what the players want. come on devs, fix the servers we have and stop giving us glitchy games and stupid rewards we dont want. I am Neriya ;). Yes, some of the replays are useful, but a lot of them are not (a lot of the ones pre-Ironheart I think). So maybe reset those early ones...? Or leave them and I will beat them all on an alternate account :D (only half a joke; Heroic Realm is one of my favourite parts of this game :) ).Quote:

honestly the replays are a joke and quite meaningless now.. beating those bosses at those power levels is quite impossible. Take veleno my first kill on him i had 39m power before i was able to beat. That was one week ago. Quite frankly according to Tynon, it was a fluke that I actually won. I've not beaten since no matter how many times a day I've tried. I now have 41.5m power, and just cant win using the same formation or changing it from the original victory over him I had.
Fluke? or just another reason to get ticked off at the game developers.
My vote is ticked off and it's an INSULT to the players to see those videos they have now.
i still think it was done by accident and now they call it a new feature to cover up the mistake that was being made.
i honestly believe that the replays should be from the boss that actually got killed at that stage of the game and not some pre-patch with different heroes. what i am saying is that IF it shows a clip then that clip should be from the actual boss to beat with the same power, same resistances, etc ...
i dont care on what server or what player has beaten him first, but i think its fundamentally wrong to show clips with 20% less power. to be honest, what is even the point? the only similar thing is the name. i watched some clips on previous bosses getting beat using cianna + shayd where the boss stays in stun almost every round! that same boss i did a test run and beat him everytime because i have double the power. so instead use of full form i used my main and cianna as only heroes to hit the boss and got a result that lets your hair stand up: 3 out of 100 stuns cianna was able to stun him!
to add insult to injury i have to point out that in the clips i see heroes taking 4+ hits from minions and bosses before they go down. my heroes usually get 1-2 shot on the same boss if they dont dodge.
that being said, i have a message to the tynon team and developers:
if you screw up and your old data gets lost and you replace with even older data to cover up for your mistakes, then at least admit it and say say sorry to the players. instead of posting insignificant and out dated clips you could have just left it empty and collect the new material and show the new clips.
IF however it was really your intention to show the first down from all servers on all servers at once, then you should have made the bosses equal to beat for all servers. this way all they have similar is the name.
now my suggestion for the future on how to fix this and get customers happy again, i would suggest to wipe the clips and make the first five downs from servers with EQUAL bosses available for viewing.
They should have left it the way it was but reset it so that we had the replays for the new stronger bosses.
Exactly what I've been trying to tell tynon in my support tickets. Their response is that if someone else does better than the current ones then it will be replaced, but the issue is that is near impossible with many of them being from pre-patch versions of the bosses and cianna also had a higher stun rate at the time.Quote:
