New Cross Server Event
This thread is only for this idea. If you have your own idea please start your own thread to discuss it.
I would like to see some variety in the Cross server events. CWF is interesting, but if we are going to have it every other week or once a month or just not every week, we can have a different cross server events on CWFs off weeks
This event is simple, most of the coding is probably done.
CROSS SERVER BANISH
2 hour limit.
Broken up like CWF - ASIA - EUROPE - USA
Initial HP limit is determined by Number of servers involved - so say USA servers would probably have a larger HP boss then ASIA due to the larger number of players in the USA.
HP is doubled if the previous attempt was completed in less then 45 minutes.
The mechanics of this banish would function the same as a normal banish 0 no modifications to coin/credit/rep rewards - no modification to stuns
Rewards are given to top 100 - NO PLANS - NO LEADER CARDS
Top 5 - 20 purple medals - a level 8 chip
6-10 -10 purple medals - a level 7 chip
11-20 20 blue medals - level 6 chip
21-50 10 blue medals - level 5 chip
51-100 5 blue medals - level 4 chip
FINAL HIT which would be random - LEADER CARD - To make them more available
Now I know the rewards don't seem like a lot to some and may seem like a lot to others, The top players should get something for doing well, but the MASSIVE amounts of coins and credits we would all get is a big reward in itself. I would estimate the USA servers would lead at least a 500b HP boss. With players who can do 200-400m damage in a 1.25b banish in 30 minutes. This event will easily allow then to do 4-5 times that damage. That is equal to 80-200m coins and 40-100m credits
Auto Fight would work as normal. People who want to sit there for 2 hours and refresh could, or just log in click auto fight and leave.
This should not be a weekly event - It is something that occurs when there is no CWF no more then twice a month.

I dont want any other event until Tynon fixes server issues and lock up with the server we have, and take care of dead servers.
-
I agree, first fix the CW and GW.
Both are broken and need to be fixed.
Then we can talk about cross server event. Also there is enough events and unless someone does not have a job and sits behind a PC all day, it is hard to do all these events as is.
Cerb at 10am, Baal at 3pm, Rag at 6pm, GW at 7pm, CW starts at 6pm, Noble Lady at 9pm (all west coast time).
When will we be able to squeeze in another 2 hour event?
What about remove noble lady all together and move Ragnok to the morning like 8am server time and move GW to 6pm and CW start at 7pm.

No thank you. Pass on that idea Mat.

I love this idea, as it would be in CW off weeks we wouldn't have that as a possible conflict. I'm thinking perhaps 10-12 East Coast time on Friday nights. would interfere with GW's for West coast (witch I play in) but for a chance at the rewards for this I would gladly take it. Great idea Matt.

Just break it into 5 zones much easier than trying to fit in with the 3 diff USA zones.
-
Yes. I like this idea and make it later at night, like CWF is.

Minor detail, but they would need to implement where each server is fighting its own boss, but the damage is linked to a global HP pool and global leaderboard. If ALL players were actually fighting the same boss and able to see each other, then it would crash the servers instantly. Also, you wouldn't want cross-server PVP going on with older server players farming newer servers players.
Just a minor implementation detail, but throwing it out there since chances are if the devs do decide to implement it, they will probably do it wrong somehow.

Not right now, lets get the CW working properly for a few months first lol, then who knows.

It's not a bad idea. The 2 hour time limit seems a bit long though.
I must say that adding this doesn't add diversity, or change, to the game. CW was a game changer; this is not. It' just the same thing that already exits, but it gives more rewards and you compete with more people. If they are to add something new, I expect something more surprising and which change our entire experience of the game, as CW successfully did.
But as others said, there are issues that need to be fixed first, especially GW.
