Observations

We are having issues with the chat on the Thor server in the light realm. (Sexymmnemnr) is causing a disturbance in realm chat. His foul mouth and lack of respect is a major down side . I was assisting new players in realm chat and with his and a few others presence i refuse to even look at realm chat for several hours. It has been a load of dung all day. but was more from spam. Him however, i am embarrassed to read the chat and am a 40 yo mother of 3. My kids do not have mouths that foul. plus I see we have younger kids onthe game. I am not opposed but if they are exposed to this type of language what does it say about the gamers who developed the chat. At least Evony has filters and blocks. We need realm or server mods who can block peoples chat when they get offensive to this degree..

ooh no no they not playing at the moment till block works again.

i wish the block lasted more than 24 hours.. mines working but tells me will end in 24 hours
and i have a realm chat full of miscreants so i am having to block them all out

No tutorial. no one to ask for help. Way too much garbage chat allowed. No support addy found. Rate for this game = minus 101. too bad looked good for the 1st few seconds. Turned out to be worse than roe. bye bye

I dunno 'bout all that, I just don't like the cursing and dirty talk. Not too mention the flirting and hooking up crap...

I came here to mention the same thing. It seems now that game is live, its bringing in all sorts. Some will play, some just like to annoy, be distractive. I just read the rules for Forum, if the same were applied to world and realm chat, that might relieve some of the issues these people are creating. I am surprised to see no filters in chats at all, even though i realize there are ways around it. Not sure the solution, but some monitoring may be in order, so that dev's can see what its like. Perhaps we were spoiled with Beta, and having just real players on servers. I surely hope the beta members, and newcomers can enjoy the game with less of this so we don't have to "hide" realm chat. And there is no way to "hide" or ignore world chat and banners.

Amen, bring it on.

I'm not surprised about all the chat in world, but when I see it scrolling across my screen, I get mad. It's becoming out of control. Now all I see is foul language and sexual content. I've talked to people in my guild and they can't even let their kids in the room while they're playing because the banner shows everything in world chat for all to see, whether or not they want it to. I understand that this game is mainly for older folks, etc., but there are kids playing and even as an adult, I have to try and find something else to look at until it goes away.
