I wonder if people really start quitting the game the point will reach home? Or if they will notice or care?
It's because Tynon isn't their "Signature" game... and they are taking the money they make here in this game, to invest into that one, as they feel it will have a bigger player base as a 3rd game in their series. Doesn't matter what you spend here... this game is a sinking ship and to be honest, I don't see myself going down with said ship. They let evony be destroyed by bots, let this game be destroyed by their OWN hand... And I'll guarantee you COE goes the same way. They have ZERO idea what customer service is supposed to be.
My advice to the devs would be to go play another MMO and deal with customer support THERE from a player POV, to get an idea of how its supposed to be done. All the countless hours of mundane clicking and grinding trying to advance in this game, in retrospect, seems futile when faced with issues like the fact that content just can not be released in a timely manner, customer support is garbage, the current content we DO have is still glitched all to he||. Some of it has been glitched since day 1, and there hasn't even been an attempt to fix it. take the examples from above posts. It's enough to not only make someone want to quit Tynon, but also to make them not only swear off uCool games, but all browser based MMOs as a whole.
ARRR I be seein a mutiny cap'n.
Actually, this is the signature of an F2P game. If you spent loads of money in this and did not see this coming, then I'd say you got your just desserts. Go play more F2P games and wise up ;)

There are a few games out there who can produce patches bi-weekly and new content monthly.
If you would like me to show you Dawn im happy to give you the name of this company who does this so called magic, and its not just one game.
They released a new game around the time you did.
Since then they added 2 level caps, 8 new maps, new character class on ONE of their games.
On another they introduced new maps, new characters, New npcs, got rid of the botters ( Evony take note :) ), new interface.
And to top it all released the above mentioned new game :)
Thats only 3 outta around 15 games they have so... guess they can 'sprint' better than you :)
Grammar is only the smallest of their writer's problems. But if they are writing in English, then they should ensure that they are always using the correct grammar. Hell all they need to do is hire a native English speaking and writing copy-editor. I wouldn't attempt to write in Spanish even though I could, because I don't understand the grammar or syntax well enough to pull it off successfully. If they can't do it, they can't do it, but then Ucool needs to hire someone who can.
What Andy said.
Americans think English is spoken in 100% of the world lol.
In the US, proper English is hardly spoken anyway.
:p
*sigh* Trust me. I am more than aware that English is not spoken everywhere, much less in the U.S., however, overall their writers are just plain awful. Grammar is the least of their problems, but as a company Ucool cannot use non-native English speakers as an excuse for poor writing. They are putting a game out in English, and they are expecting their writers to write in English. If they are too lazy to hire a copy-editor or if their copy-editor just sucks this badly, then they need to be told so.
I'm with that one as well. I addressed all of them in my original post. Overall they just have a really crappy development team period. They are slow, sub-par, and egotistical. They expect us to believe they are operating at the same level as any other game when it is apparent they are not. I just specifically address the writers because, as a writer, I take it extremely personal when simple **** like that is ignored. Not to mention I could deal with some of the problems in coding if there was a decent storyline in the game, and I didn't constantly feel the need to edit as I play.
They don't have to "hire" anyone at all.... Dawnseeker obviously speaks english and so do others in Ucool... They can proofread just as easy as a new hire could.
None of us know how Ucool is funded, structured or operated. All we know is that there are apparently Chinese programmers involved and most likely NOT in this country. I'd even go so far to say that I'm betting the programming aspect of this game, graphics, story and everything else is out-sourced to one or more companies in China. I'm betting that Ucool has rights on the product and it's earnings (liscenced) and other companies do all or most of the "dev" work to it. This explains why Dev's don't communicate and why we are told nothing. This is just one of my theories... I could be totally off base in THIS instance, but I do know that this is done.
Like everyone else here, I'm not as happy as I was 4 months or more ago. I'm starting to feel guilty playing Tynon. Each time I drop money, I instantly wonder if that was a smart move. Of course, technically it's never smart to buy virtual goods so that explains some guilt. Normally the distraction the game causes and the good time I get from it out weighs the shame, but not recently. On top of that I feel that I cannot complain about the lack of progress or about how spending money gets you punished in this game because we are basically told it's our fault. Stop playing our product so much and you wouldn't be asking for more content, etc, etc...
I have spent a VIP8 amount of cash here, yet when I submit a ticket, I get ignored now. No Joke. Seriously, they ignore me. I suppose this will be deemed my fault as well. (No, I never fought with them) The higher VIP I got, the worse the service got. I now have two tickets that did not get settled at all. They weren't server changing events or anything, but it was a game glitch that affected my account... they were never even answered. I do not submit tickets anymore, CS, you won Stanley. I give up.
I won't spit out any idle threats that I'm going to quit playing or anything like that, because I can't be held to that kind of thing quite yet. I'm very patient, but other TOP spenders are fed up... I do wonder what's next.
That's my five cents... thanks
i know the frustration about the lab bugs deuc. all i get is, we are aware of the problem, we will get back to you. well, if you are aware of the problem, and i send the same ticket in for 3 months as it keeps happening, WHY aren't they doing anything about it?! clearly, they are NOT so aware as they claim to be...
Yea i agree they shuld remove all the cap from talent, blacksmith and runes this would help a lot of players who have nothing else to do. Also players will end up coining more cause of this as they will be racing each other, Players won't have to worry about other weaker players cathcing up to them unless they end up coining a lot themselves. I think the top players should push for this more than asking for new content.
Also instead of tokens in the packages they should give more coins and credits.
Personally I don't know why all the big players are so upset about tokens being offered in the packs. It's not like they're cheap, you're looking at a minimum of 200$ of a LB spirit, and it just goes up from there. They really only function as a minor boost for most players to get a little bit closer to a spirit they were already saving for. I can understand being frustrated that they weren't available when you were coining as heavily, but such is life. There are thousands of examples I could give involving lower prices for something you paid much more for a few months prior. But i'll just use gas. Yesterday it was $3.50 a gallon and you filled your tank (16 gallons). Today you find out it's $3.40 a gallon and you get a free soda for every 10 gallons. You're not going to go to that gas station and ask for your money back and a free soda are you? It's not like it makes that large of a difference and you got what you paid for. Trust me when I say, for all but the most serious of coiners the tokens don't do much anyway.
This sounds like a very lame excuse
How hard is it for you to give us an ETA on things being developed is that not why you are here ... IIf you cant do simple tasks such as this then you are pretty much useless (No hard feelings here just letting you on the truth youre a cool guy but just are very unhelpful
Your famous comment "We are looking to release it in the future" or something to that extent PLEASE GIVE US AN ETA and dont say you dont have one because it is a lie
Ok
Im gonna take dawn at shim's word here.l So if dawn is unable to give etas its not shim's fault its the people who manage uCool.
They need to sit down and play some other games and then play this game and see the striking difference in things. Then maybe they can make the changes in the company necessary to make this game more fun to play, before it goes down like the Titanic
Greetings and Salutations to all Tynon Players on Server 99 Toth:
This is RieBear25 :o) I have many friends there on the server just wanted to find out why I am unable to load Tynon Game on any Browser and I've tried quite a few since 7:00 am est this morning. Hopefully someone anyone is around to explain the status of the game. Anxiously anticipating a response from anyone, Thank you and have a greaaaaat day!!
So I disagree with the OP - I see mainly these "top 12 from servers 1-10" complaining the most. Then you have certain players who bought their way quickly thru the game complaining about more content- When if they would have just taken their time the game would have lasted months longer. I see when players who are VIP0-VIP3ish complain in forums about real issues that make the game not fun for the majority - they get bullied, insulted and, therefore, discouraged from posting their thoughts.
There are some changes that I like and some that I don't -
They fixed that crap with the stars which is wonderful! :D
I do miss the days when you could sink enemy guilds' boats and they wouldn't get any rewards - but I get how the change makes things more fun overall.
(For the 3rd time I say) Those "Sale" packages are crap. Giving too much of an advantage to those who have much to waste on a game.
Just because some people choose to spend lots doesn't make them more loyal than other players.
Just because you found the game a few months earlier than others doesn't make you more loyal of a player.
Everyone isn't going to like everything - I have seen many changes over the last year and a half or so...
For me, they have lost me more than they have won me - But, hey, to each his own.
umm...this was an old thread 6 months ago.
