Same on S14 maynon.. Just did 68mill damage.. Got 54mill coins.. So a flat 20% decrease... From 10% of your damage in coins, too 8% of your damage into coins
Guess thats also a way to negate some of all the time we use in rune temple :)
Is there a decrease in credits earned?
SAME on server 1
yet another ANNOUNCED CHANGE.
IM SO NOT HAPPY
Same here, server 1 got about 5 mil less coin than usual for the amount of damage done. Guess this is their way of further slowing us down... Wish theyd just get the content out there instead of trying to limit us on what we can do.
So its 20% less coins and credits?
Is the amount of rep earned affected?
Are the bosses harder to kill or stun?
It is only a 20% nerf in cred/coins earned and noly on the 1.3bill bosses the nerf is active... nothing else is affected exept the earnings.. the rep aitn affected either
A 20% reduction in banish income is pretty much like cutting our overall income by 15-18%... Banish IS the major income in this game. I see no point in this whatsoever, except to slow our progression even further. As hard as some of us have worked to get our banish forms just right to maximize our incomes daily, just to have the rewards (like MANY other things in this game) reduced is insulting. That equals out to close to 100 mil less coins a week for myself, and even more than that for other players that rank higher than myself. Ridiculous.
well since they fix glitches so quick, i have a huge glitch, it wont let me progress further, Herby can u run and tell Dawn about that please you good lil lap dog.
I did half of the damage I normally do today, plus I got 20% less rewards. Can we get an answer as to WHY? Why we weren't told, why it was decided, why, why , why??
If you wanted to kill the last event left that was actually worth playing you just successfully did. Great work.
I'm curious as to whether I'm the only one who thinks it is a glitch. And that they'll have it fixed in the next day or two.
Based on my data, about 50% of current players will quit if this nerf is not rolled back.
Thus it is in Tynon's best interest to roll this back as soon as possible. Otherwise, they will lose the majority of the income.
Low, mid, and high power players are all in an uproar over this, and will quit in droves.
Let's not start with this nonsense. You don't have data. We can have a productive discussion about game changes without resorting to absurdity.
If you did less damage, its not a result of any change we made. You're the only one who has mentioned it. I'm following up on the game changes, please be patient.
Let's step back for a moment here. I know it stinks to get 20% less coins than before, but its not the end of the world.
I'll figure out what is up with it, but my guess is that because banishes have gotten so big and damage has gone so high, players are just pulling in a lot more income from it than we ever intended. As a result players may be outpacing our development cycles. We are working as fast as we can on new content, but the reality is we are a small company with a small team and we can't just crank out new content every 2 weeks.
As a suggestion, I think a Tynon rep, such as Dawn or perhaps somebody else, can make a game account, and go on all of the servers and pretend to be a normal player. You could get feedback and information from a more representative sample of your player base, as most players do not go post their opinions on the forums.
Yes, the 50% number is not data, it is just a projection based on incomplete sampling. It was incorrect to label it as data, it would be misrepresentation. However, based on personal investigation, I have found that on at least a dozen of the US West servers from 3 to 116, approximately half of the active players on those servers has voiced either privately or publicly that due to this change, as well as various other factors, they are considering quitting this game. And many among those numbers have already made the decision to quit as well.
no one told we want new content every 2 weeks at least i or we want the missing part of the game then u can do what ever change banish give us new way of cards gaining
its really over 2 month now we stuck on justice gears we have alot of sirius spirt and material that for gears we canot have our inventory is full and its start anoying
to be honest the last 3 patch card broker sanc remove or rising the % of succ and now banish decrese reward i dont think it was amazing or intresting thing to do in the game
good luck
DawnseekerEvery two weeks? The content ended long ago, it is way past two weeks. Level 110 has been hit by many players now, more than 2 wks ago. Now "they" take away reward, most likely due to we have worked on the new heroes and have maximized them to our benefit. It seems as though the players are not intended to figure these things out or when they do they get rollbacks. Well, that is getting tiresome. Take two steps forward, and we get bumped 4 back.....Quote:

So much to say here on this one response.
First Dawn Thanks for checking in to things and trying to get us some info. But I think we should get the info before the changes. This patch has done more then just changed banish rewards. Lab costs have changed in a good way and card broker costs changed to 30 gems as well. Plus there was a glitch or 2 fixed. The community should be told first, it would make Dawn's job a lot easier.
As usual it is the fact that we dont get warnings or any information about changes that upsets people so much. This leads to the rants and raves in the forum.
If uCool is such a small company one would think that communication between the entire team is easy, so why is it Dawn you seem to be the last to know about things? That just seems odd to me if you are the community representative. The company needs to do a much better job at communicating within the organization so the community rep knows everything that is happening and can handle any and all issues in the community with as much knowledge and efficiency as possible. This unfortunately is not happening and Dawn you should let your bosses know that if they changed things a little your job would be easier and you'd have a happier customer base, which should lead to increased sales.
Now this is the second time in a week that Dawn's response has ridiculed a forum member's opinion. Calling Yelsha's statement absurd and nonsense is unprofessional and I believe an apology is due to Yelsha.
In terms to how fast there is new content....
Well it is taking much longer then any one expected. Once again if we knew what is going on and were given updates from the dev team with ETAS, then many people would calm down over new content. But there is almost no reason that the searing desert bosses are closed off now. They should have been powered up with fllips and stats by now. ANd getting a few HR bosses out should not be an issue since they are just powered up version of quest bosses that have been out for months.
No one expects new content every two weeks on an indefinite basis. However this forum has presented enough bugs, glitches, minor changes and new concepts to produce alot of updates. These updates may just be fixes and minor improvements to game play. But none-the-less the devs have more then enough to do so they could actually release updates to the software on a weekly basis for many months.
I do find the fact that the dev team spends more energy in changing old content than developing new content disturbing. I played beta, i played server 1 since day 1, I have started a couple characters on other servers from time to time. The first say 10-20 missions have been updated, revised and changed probably 8 times since beta. The sad thing about this fact is the energy spent on this would have been better spent on newer content because the majority of people who spend money here will never see those changes. Mainly new players and the occasional veteran who starts a new server will see ALL those many changes to the beginning missions. So all the story line changes, graphics changes, map changes etc seem wasted on the vast majority of the player base. I think most of us would have preferred the energy used on these changes to the early missions be put into releasing more content. i think this constant need to tweak the old content disturbing. The old content is fine. New content would be much more appreciated.
Now is the reduced amount of coins and credits a major deal? No its not. It is a stupid in my opinion. Most of us realized it was to slow down progress. Now many have said they are tired of progress being slowed down in forums, so why the devs would ignore that fact is beyond my understanding.
But the major issue is they changed a major part of the game with no announcement or warning. This needs to stop. JUST TELL US THINGS BEFORE AND AS THEY ARE HAPPENING.
The "it's more fun to figure it out yourself" concept is being applied to every part of the game lately. As you can see by the majority of posts about changes, it is not always more fun to figure it out yourself.
Ucool should make whatever changes they want and add or delete content as they want.
If they wanted to
- reduce rewards -FINE
- take away stuns in banish -FINE
- not release any new HR bosses until May - FINE
- never merge a server - FINE
JUST TELL THE PLAYER BASE WHAT IS GOING ON. TELL US AHEAD OF TIME. KEEP US INFORMED.
If that was done 50% of the posts on this forum would not even exist, people would be happier and probably spending more money on the game and getting more people to play the game as well.
The real problem is doing it without telling us that it is being done and why. If there had been some sort of communication that said something like "We made a change to the rewards that you get from the Banish event by reducing ..... t because ......" there would not be as many complains. You need to take back to your management that the improving of communications is probably the best thing that they can do to improve player satisfaction that will not impact development since the design and development teal is not involved. All they needs to be done is to keep you informed of the changes that are going in and for you to post them.
One thing. Just saying what is being done may not be enough, specially when the change is going to reduce what a player gets, like the reduce rewards from Banish. It also needs to say why it is being done so that we do not get all the ranting in the forum about it. Yes, I know that there will still be some complains, but if there is a rational reason why it is done then the serious players will not be complaining, or at least the discussion of the changes will be more productive.
I have so much to say to this, but i'm going to hold back and keep it as civil as I can.
Dawn,
your rampant unprofessionalism is bordering on the absurd and beginning to make it sound like you have never worked in customer service before. We are not your friends. We are not in a bar getting worked up about some new bill working its way through city council over a few drinks. Please dump this ridiculous "we're best friends and I can say whatever I want attitude". You're beginning to become one of the most disrespectful CS employees I have every seen. Please quit being dismissive and disrespectful.
-DrthCaedus
P.S. Can anyone direct me to where I might lodge a formal complaint? go ahead and PM me.
Aside from the lowered coins in Banish, what else changed?
Is there a list some where? Thanks
Comments like this make me think it's time for the forums to go the way of old yeller...

It's only a forum guys. And remember, Dawnseeker is moderating 3 games, not just Tynon.
We ask him for communication. He gives it to us. Raw, straight up.
Now you complain that he's too straightforward? Weird.
I like it that he does it this way, rather than sugarcoating things or not saying anything at all.
Any communication is better than no communication.
So if your a small company you are not the fastest in producing new content as previously said in older posts?
Now do we praise you for being the fastest or take pity cos your a small company who cant communicate to one another?
Im so confused about your answers Dawn u say one thing then back pedal.
Just be str8 with us please.
Ok guys I'm going to my mod thing because quite frankly I've seen enough.
^True, it's not perfect but it's something. Would you rather you'd have no communication whatsoever? I know I'd rather this than that.
Would you rather I close this thread for trolling or keep it open so Dawnseeker can continue to bring you the information you crave? Carry on with remarks like that and I will.
I will make this clear to everyone, I am getting tired of the insults being dished out by some members of this forum. You make complaints about how poorly Dawnseeker posts and then I see comments like those two quoted above. Who may I ask is in the wrong at least he (Dawn) doesn't make below the belt remarks about your mental health. If y'all want continue offering up your opinions, then some attitudes need to change sharpish.
Don't get me wrong, I like every single one of you guys. However, I'll rather swap ideas and opinions then give out infractions and close threads. Savvy.
Thanks
I think people would like Dawnseeker to take the initiative to communicate with us, instead of of waiting for us to get all worked up about something before he finally posts something.
And people would like Dawn to be informed of the changes before they happen, so he can communicate with us before the changes hit.
As somebody that works in the software development industry, it just doesn't make sense why uCool chooses to leave Dawn out of the loop. Generally in the industry, the entire customer support and sales team are informed of any potential changes weeks before they are released, so they have time to let clients and customers know. Generally, these teams are notified of proposed changes before the changes are assigned to the development teams.
*sigh* that's it...just time for a break I think. maybe i'll post something in a few days...
My apologies if my response sounded over dramatic, I didn't intend to sound like this pushed me over the edge, but my point still sticks. I won't go into how badly this impacted all large players because everyone here already knows that. My damage issue is the result of "randomness" according to your response in my last post about the huge change in banish damage, and I accepted that. It's hard to swallow since it all happened overnight, but most things are lately. I understand we have proven time and time again to eat up content faster than you expected, it makes perfect sense. Why though, do we keep playing a take away this, take away that game? Why can't someone just be up front about all this? All these changes you say are to slow progress while content is made, but we have been told this since the first time we were "slowed down" for lack of a better term. Can't these developers up their game a bit, so that your better customers (the guys who stick through it all, through thick and thin and TWO games now) don't keep getting nipped in the rear? I mean come on... I can't stand the constant griping on this board as much as the next guy, but sooner or later pace must be picked up because I think the players have proven to you that they will not slow down if given a choice, and will quit or complain endlessly if you force them to. I'm not demanding more content. I'm not complaining about quests or talent caps or anything like that. All I'm saying is stop taking stuff away from us, that we have been getting for months. It's just bad manners, period. Thank you for looking into it, and even if what you find out is not what we want to here, please let us know.
EDIT: The Patch notes say that they Capped Banish rewards at 100m Coins and 20m Credits per event. Well, why is it affecting all players then? Not one person on Server one comes close to 1billion damage, or 100m coins. This still doesn't explain the issue. I really hope they don't mean that each boss now gives a max of 100m coins and 20m credits to all players total.
I am not happy right now with these new limits, on a 1.25b banish I would usually rack up around 75-80mil coins and 36-40mil credits. Those rewards fit in perfectly with my current blacksmith and rune demands. For some reason, Tynon seems to want the spenders keeping the servers alive to leave the game. If this is their intention, then I would happily do so. They fixed one glitch and then threw another rock in the path of player progression.
I know for a fact that our money is going to some dude in Hong Kong who seems to be running things here at Tynon. Well if he ever comes on here and read these posts then know this, if Tynon keeps pulling this crap then you will lose all your paying players. These patches make no sense, while there are many other issues and glitches in the game that needs fixing and are being ignored. The limits on banish, runes, talent, and equipment needs to be removed and made endless, so that we can keep progressing.
The reason players spend money on this game is to get an edge. If we are being held back intentionally for other players to catch-up, then its not worth spending any money on here.
Dawn, please do your job, let the programmers know that they need to remove these ridiculous limits. I am aware that you are a small operation and cannot release new content every two weeks, but some of us have been stuck for over a month with nothing to do. We need new maps, quests, and uncap the limits.
The complaining on the forums will reduce drastically if you just let us know what is being worked on, when it will be released, and elicit feedback from players BEFORE they even go to beta. I have managed marketing agencies, worked with game developers and designers, and even help new startups get off the ground; however, in all my time I have never seen so much mismanagement, bad customer service, and lack of communication. From my point-of-view, it seems as if your company is deliberately sabotaging itself by discouraging paying players from spending more money and non-paying players from ever spending a dime on this game.
I am not sure if you noticed, but there is another game called “Lord of Ultima,” they also introduced ridiculous caps on their game and provided a similarly horrible customer service that drove away paying players. Well, come next month they are going out of business; it would be a real shame to see the same happen to Tynon when there is real potential here to make this a great and lasting game.
I hope these thoughts give Dawn and Tynon some pause and reflection on what they are doing before the damage become irreversible.
Execdude, for the 1.25b hp boss, you only lose 20% of what you originally were getting.
Everyone else is subject to these same limitations
Why is it such a big deal to you?
These massive amounts of coins and credits are free.
I dont think free is the right word.
If by free you mean there is no gem cost associated with it - you could be right
But I dont see these rewards form events like banish as free.
You build your acct - that takes time and some people, like execdude, invest real money into their accts. SO time and sometimes money is invested to build an acct that allows you to reap those "free" rewards. SO they arent really free. You cant just start a new acct on server 1 and be give 20-40m free coins per banish.
Also to earn those rewards one may spend gems to boost, which once again requires time invested to get either free ones or money to buy some. SO once again not free
I think if there is a cap, then the 100% boost should not cost gems. Why should anyone have to pay to get extra and earn the rewards you use to get for an 80% boost?
I think the major point tynon is missing out on is we play games for fun. But to limit players and take things away as they have done over the past 2 patches is not considered fun by many.
I think because he's paid and built his account to be competitive, know the change and caps prevent growing allowing others to catch up when hes spent time and money to stay ahead.
He worked on building his account, so to take away 20% of what he was getting in banish isn't right is it? Like he said he was using those rewards to keep up with talents and blacksmiths,
his power allowed him to get that amount of coins/credits so there not free he earned them.
This game is getting long in the tooth. May have to get a life now - Tynon are now routinely incentivizing me to stop spending my time here.
Regarding communication, I'm sure most of you imagine there's a smart office building with a shiny uCool plaque proudly declaring that this is 'uCool Head Office'. No such place exists as uCool mainly floats about in cyberspace. I would imagine there is some rented office space somewhere, but their employees are based worldwide being an internet company. For example Dawnseeker is based in the US and Thalin who is (or was) the Vice Development Director in Evony is based in Oz. So if Dawn needs to contact someone with the answers to our (the players) questions, they may very well live in another time zone and has to wait for that person to become available.
Currently, Dawn has been doing major Q&A with Evony players due to some major changes brought in over there, which may also explain why he's being stretched. This by all means doesn't mean some improvements can't be made and some of the comments you guys made aren't legitimate but it does help put some things in perspective.
@ExecDude, your're right in saying 'Lord of Ultima' is closing down but since I've had the pleasure of briefly playing that game I received an email about that situation. LoU is shutting down on the 17th May (if I remember rightly) and isn't allowing any new accounts or purchases to be made. It's also owned by EA which considering is a games industry giant I very much doubt it's going out of business. EA tried to break into the MMORTS market and now have decided it wasn't for them and investing in other projects. However, it doesn't mean another company won't buy the IP and continue LoU's development.
Before you ask why have I allowed and named another game, it's because since it's being closed down, it's no longer a competitor.
Now back on topic, regarding my rewards in Cerb, I did roughly 20% damage and received 16m coins...I forgot to look up the credits (duh). 20% reduction in 1.25b Banish sounds about right.
In reality it's a drop but it's not a major loss, at least for me. Worse things happen at sea.
