@ Andy -

Actually some (most) retail outlets will honor a refund of the difference if you bring an item back or the receipt if it went on sale 1-2 weeks after you bought it. It all depends on the item(s) and the outlet. I work for one of the largest on the east coast, and my wife works for the largest in the world and both of our companies will give the difference back for up to 2 weeks on most items. This solves nothing here, but the point sticks.

It's VERY much worth it, but not for those who cannot afford letting go of $100 for a game. Don't get me wrong, I have spent $100 several (way too many) times in Tynon, but I buy the $30.00 MUCH more often and especially appreciate them on holidays, like most people do.

Server 1 Noble lady = Almost impossible. I will still be there, hopefully, and I do like this idea. I'd still appreciate a much more solid "gift" or package to buy.

Yes its known as addiction disorder (playing game AND SPENDING)
They become so addicted to spending on the game they go bankrupt.
When they need money they simply lose their homes.

Those kinds of disorders needs pyschology treatment and before you are you serious me yes I am DEAD SERIOUS

I can speak to this disorder. I suffered from a full blown addiction to Evony and could no longer control my behavior. I managed to quit with a lot of support and a very long break from any sort of game period. I've thought about spending money on this game, but I know I can't otherwise I run the risk of falling into the same trap as I did last time. I'm kind of glad I don't even have the money to spend lol

Well I have spent a lot of money on this game and I know many of the high rollers have too in the total order of tens of thousands of dollars when you accumulate all the small purchases made over time. The only thing is, I can afford it, but regardless, I agree, this is a disorder and is an additive thing, and especially when you start to impact your life balance and things such as being able to go on family trips, impact the necessities in life (things for kids, etc).

When you find your self totally consumed by an on line game, and all you can do is spend time on the forums (like me and many of us), and do things out of character such as stay up later than usual to chat with people and do in game things... It does seem like this has spiraled out of control.

I myself am trying to do things in moderation moving forward. Just do my daily assistant activities and LAB's, chat less, forum less, and spend less and slow things down, but games such as this makes it hard to when there is competition; and trying to get out what you already spent into the same.. driving you deeper into making more and more investments.

+1 definitely. were not all billionaires.

Without going into detail, I also understand what your saying. It's a slippery slope. Evony had me by the you know what's. Tynon has me for even more. I have succesfully slowed my spending down a bunch and am proud that i'm not even VIP8 and got to where I am even so. Most people on server 1 my size or larger are VIP9 or more, except Boo. He and I are fiscally similar.
