I got a better idea, lets just not have cwf and instead of them changing it around to try and prevent this in the future, they could concentrate on new events,maps,and hr bosses
How about having two different CWs, One week have the normal CW then the next week have a CW but restrict it to 100 mill power and less , might make more people happier and I cant see it that hard to put into effect as far as coding etc. Happy people / players are more likely to buy a few gems here and there instead of leaving the game....win/win
How about seeding, or adjusting it so there is some rotation of who plays every time. Spread the "luck" of the draw.
Yeah... I would intentionally keep my power under there (you know... once I get even close).
Something that would be interesting is a random cap every two weeks. So sometimes 100m, sometimes 60m, sometimes 130m, sometimes 30m.... gives everyone a shot at this second CW (with scaled down rewards so it doesn't offset the power-balance in the newbie world). It's not like we will all stop powering up in order to maybe get within the cap, and this might give everybody a chance.
There is nothing wrong with CW. If a person wants to throw his winning, that is his choice. I don't know why they would do that except maybe for giving a guild member a aphrodite card, or a spirit plan if they have it all, but again, that is their right and choice.
Eventually, someone will catch that person and beat them from another guild. It is bound to happen eventually.
This is what I would like to see happen in CW. I think it will solve all these problems.
- When the formation is frozen at 1 minute before the start of the battle recalculate the power value and display the new value.
- Allow betting until 30 seconds before the start of the battle. This way people can bet based on the power that will be used in the battle.
In addition I would like this other change if possible. I list it separate because it would extend the duration of the event and I do not know if that would be a good thing.
- Freeze the formation at 90 seconds before the battle starts. Once the formation is frozen display the recalculated values and the formations. The battle scene for the start of the match would be sufficient. Allow betting until 30 seconds before the match starts. This will give the bettor one full minute to analyze the formations and place the bet. This will also remove 30 seconds from the time that the players fighting have before the formations are frozen. If that is a problem then increase the time between battles by 30 seconds.
If the player wants to trow the match for whatever reason it will not affect those that wait until the formation is frozen to bet.
