Yes, I am. We named our guild over on Server 78 after one of the Great Houses :D (Baratheon).
well the imp is the best written character of possibly all time
But i would not use any of tehse people as role models to live by. They are all treacherous bastards
I have to say I found the books rather badly written and slow.
It is one of the few times I preferred the show they made out of it.
The imp is a great character though and the best to read about in the books next to the girls quest who's name I have forgotten, the sister of John Black.
Just my opinion of course :).
I meant jon is my fav character. Anyway eddard went to war after his father and borther were killed by the king and his sister taken away as well, also i don't think he is the father of Jon Snow and since jon snow is a stark as mentioned in the book several times he must be the son of lynaa stark and the targareyan robert had killed.
hey guys i am a HUGE game of thrones fan, read all the books, novellas, watched all the lore vids. i'm a total geek for got!! lol the main character i play on in tynon is AryaStark and my 1st character is obvi DaenarysMyhsa! i want to delete that one though and start over when i have actual $! lol is everyone psyched for the new season about to start?
Im pretty excited... though im looking even more forward to Winds of Winter than to the new season on HBO... but then Again Peter dinklage is pretty awesome in the show :-)
Big fan of the series, Peter Dinklage and Tyrion Lannister is one of the unique new characters in our memory, he can't die or I'll quit watching. I've read all the books, really enjoyed them, but the author is weird! So slooooow! Wished I hadn't started reading them at one point. I mean come on, he spends 1/2 a chapter describing the shields on a wall, the dragons are stars but he has them thrown in a locked pit for two books.
Aryia is my favorite; I think she should become Queen and rule the world when it's all over.
And speaking of ending; the author took a 5 year bread between book 4 and 5, now he's all engrossed in the TV series (who wouldn't be, he's making millions) so the next book will be years and might not even get written. He's left us with all kinds of cliffhangers in the plot that better get resolved.
Can't wait until Joffrey gets horribly killed.
Wait, is Wings of Winter a new book?
While GRRM is consulting for the show, he isn't writing for it. That's Dave Benioff in charge there.
I can't wait for the sunday start up, it will be a good way to end out the weekend.
That Jon Snow should be Eddard Starks is one posibility, though not nearly the only, and not the most likely i think. Even though Grrm likes to give all his chareters both good and bad sides, i dont think eddard starks bad side is adultery. It just seems to dishourable for him... i am more into thinking his bad side is being a bit blind to everything that happens around him.
and i like the theories about Jon Snow being one of the dragons head... but who knows (Write George!! Write!!!)
so what is season 4 like? is it as good as the other 3? :D
I haven't seen the episodes I only read online that in the 4th episode they showed some whitewalker king converting babies and also in the next episode i heard they were giving away hints about bran's future. Also I'm sure they will give out more hints in future episodes as well cause the producers already know how its gonna end so they will build things accordingly but I would rather read the book first than get hints or something from the Tv show
Major book Spoiler by HBO reaad at your own risk

Ahh ok I l know what your talking about,. But what they revealed part of which was guessable by readers, and the part they leaked in the spoiler well that could have been guessed but not very easily since all thei nfo to figure that out was scatered through all the books
season 3 also revealed stuff that wasnt in the first 3 books (Theons story) so im not suprised they do the same thing in the 4th season..
I would read the book first, but martin is just to slow at writing them!
In the books, after the Red Wedding, Caetlyn, who had her throat slit, is thrown naked off of the bridge into the river. A pack of wolves, 80 strong or something like that, led by Arya's dire wolf Nymeria, are eating bodies left lying around from the red wedding massecre. Nymeria recognises a familiar smell from the river, wades out and pulls in Caetlyn's body and won't let other wolfs touch it, but leaves her there.
Later Caetlyn is seen heading a group of Northmen survivors. (I hear she is brought back to life by that guy who does such things) They are captuing any and all of the Frey line, and once confirmed Frey by Caetlyn, who has no voice box left, the Freys are executed, usually hung. I don't see any mention of any of this in the Show, so I am assuming Caetlyn is dead on TV.
