Server Mergers Begin

Server Mergers have begun!

Our first server merge for Tynon has combined Servers 21 and 30. Players on these servers are now part of the same game world!

• All cities in Guild Warfare have been released from guild control. All guilds (of the appropriate level) are be able to bid and fight for these cities once more.
• All players may claim a Unity Prize from Maria. Players whose guilds lost cities in the merge will find extra goodies inside!
• Players and guilds may have had their names changed in the merge due to conflicts. If so, speak to Maria for a free name change.

A new server means new challenges, new competition and even more fun!

We don't make any of that data public, but there is a plan. From now on, when a merger is pending, we'll announce it in advance.

Any idea when you guys will add more to the game Dawn? like continuing the quests, HR or more subs.

Also, even though you can't give us a schedule of which servers will be merging when, can you at least let us know if servers 1-10 are going to be included in the merge process at some point?

almost signed back up for wow, if the server merges comes soon enough maybe i wont have too. Getting lonely in S17 You have 2 guilds that basically duel for citys and its too the point its just plain boring. Would like to see more merges instead of another apache process launched and vhost created and NEW SERVER Launched. Take care of your loyal players then worry about new ones... Customers come first.. Also thanks for the update Dawn. You sometimes go un-seen. But kudos +1. Sike.

I'd like to see multiple newer servers merged into each server 1-10. IE: Servers 11 through 15 merge into Server 1, 16 trough 20 into Server 2, etc. Maybe not a 5 to 1 ratio, but something like that. The first 10 servers could be "super servers" and maybe even give existing 1-10 players the option to switch servers if they don't agree with a merge, or if they don't like the players that will be merging to their current server. That sounds like a win-win to me.

if you could merge 103 with something that has a toon comparable to pussyriot , then he would have some competition, instead of us little toons that have like 259 million less power than him. :)

I mean if your moving stuff you may as well make the realm better as you doing it.

Dawn, if 2 servers are merged and you had on each server an active account, what will happen? Will one account dissapear? Will the effort, wins, investments of the dissapearing account brought over to the other account?

good idea duec,but with this in mind,players will move to the newest servers,and dominating the server,wich will then cause the servers origional players to quit :P

I realize if you have the same name you'll prob get a number on the end of your current one with the ability for a free change. with evony the same happened with alliances though, you got a number attached to you alliance if there was a same name during the merge; but it's easier to just make a new one and have everyone move over if you don't like it. the same is not said here with guild funds.

It might have already been gone over, seems to be many threads about the actual starting of merges; but what will happen in the case of two servers where they both have a guild with the same name?

For those of you wanting merges of multiple servers into one do keep in mind that there are diff time zones for the servers. From what I'm being told they will merge the servers based on the times zones as not to disrupt the times for the events.

this cannot happen as the servers you mention are in all in different time zones. Also servers 1-10 should cannot be merged outside those 10 imo.

I do not remember any one saying that two Gilds would be joined as part of a merge. Ides not make sense for them to do that.

Its not off topic. Since many are saying s1-10 are the elite! If you lay out what your server is and what the highest power is it will yield a threshold.

If we start posting the power of individual players, the tread will get out of hand. There is a mention of 'orifice' in the post and that is generally interpreted to mean a certain part of the human body and that is inappropriate.

If you have a toon on both servers using the same account, like you are allowed to do. What happens?

I agree with Spawn, Server 11 is not fun anymore. The super guuild (or so they think) has moved all there alts to another established guild, making everything in the game impossible. Arn't alts against tynon policy? We are done here. No merge, no players, and the few of us under 10 on the server who are real players not alts, are fed up. Spawn is right. A game is supposed to be fun.. This isn't fun for us anymore. So congratulations valor, you win. We are done and a merger couldn't possibly come in time to change that. Also, thank you tynon for developing a game we could waste our money on and NEVER even have a chance of succeding at. DONE!

Hmm sounds like a plan. Bring 11 on to 1. Let them have realm GWF with us. This super guild could be interesting for a week which ever realm they end up in. The rest of you can go to the big 5 guilds and enjoy yourselves in a fun environment where most of us get along with each other and enjoy some healthy competition

Even upper servers like 62 have all but vanished so its not just the lower servers that are having issues. All the fun has been diminished as players keep leaving because of the extreme boredom. If server mergers are taking to long, there may not be many servers left to merge.

Agree. However, we should be mindful about merging "old" with the "new" It should be like for like so there is not the same situation with low powered people fleeing to other servers or starting fresh again due to domination of one guild.

It would be good to see like for like servers with low populations be merged so there is competition. I do not see older players with a lot more vested ... quitting and starting fresh. Rather, a lot of new players with under 4 months of play... moving on if the merger is not to their fair play.
