Servers aren't the problem, guild wars & city buffs are. Right now there are lots of people waiting for a fresh new server to have a chance to compete for the top spot again because their current server is dominated by one guild that caused that server to die.
We are doing server mergers as well, which should help with servers feeling empty.
Also Dawn, why not allow for people to pay to move to servers of their choice? Instead of server merger... this would allow for people to move to a more populated server if they do not like where they are at. Charge a nominal fee such as 1000 gem for the first transfer, and 2000 for second, 5000 for third, 10000 for fourth and so on? This will keep people from abusing the transfer of characters.
Also allow Tynon to make revenue from this feature... A win-win for everyone. I personally know people who wants to move to other servers. World of Warcraft charges a fee to move your characters from one server to another. This put the control in the hands of the player.
Give them a chance. the merged two servers. Now they have to see if the criteria they used to pick those 2 servers works and gives the outcome they hoped for by merging the two servers. They not only merged the servers for the benefit of those on the servers but for the benefit of uCool. They are perfecting their method for choosing which servers get merged, let them do that and don't rush them. It took them 3 months to do the first one. Now at least give them 2 or 3 weeks to see how it worked out.
It would create the possibility of a very powerful player, or players, moving to a server where there all the top players are way below him and dominate that server. This would not be a good thing.
It also creates the possibility for powerful players from several different servers moving to the same server to create an uber-guild. This in itself may not be a bad thing depending on the circumstances. If they move to a server (new servers) or a server and realm (old servers) that already has an uber-guild it would revitalize GW and Arena in that server/realm. The problem is controlling what will happen when you have powerful players hopping to servers and the potential to destabilise that server.
so fresh servers only last about 3 months then you have people like pussyriot, that just takes the realm, showers his guild with gold packs at a grand a pop and has all the buffs, and city's, now it don't take long to go play another game when that **** happens on every server over 90 days
don't take a genius to see this realm is over and done with 103 is dead don't go there
no because that's not what the people buying this game want, they want to dominate people and be bullies, we wont go into why these megalomaniacs do what they do, we will leave that to there annalist. The game should force people who get to big to the next level :) that would fix this problem.
Andy, if the power players all want to be together, why would that be a bad thing?
If that's how they want to play, let them. Then they can't blame anyone else for their problems.
Besides, they'd still have to be accepted into a guild. The ego clashes would be fun to witness.
!!!!! DRAMA QUEENS UNITE !!!!!
Just record it for youtube posting.

I don't think this would be the case. If this was so, then every game such as World of War Craft which had players pay a lot of money to transfer would have the same issues with the most powerful people moving over and taking that realm. This almost never happened.
What I would say is that when you do a transfer of your account, you lose your ranking down a full title and lose the rep (since you should start over as a new face on the server) and lose 5 star rankings and a full saint title (Dominion -> down to Arch Angel).
Also limit how much coins and credits can be moved down to 100mil and tapeer it down based on your level so you do not become a mule. Limit the materials that can be carried from the bank such as cards (to 1) and crafting materials to 1 stack of each as well as the stars.
This is the way to implement this properly IMO.
I said that power players going into a server that has an uber-guild to create another guild to give them competition would may not be a bad thing. As far as "If that's how they want to play, let them" does not take into account what will happen to all the other players in the server.
Why would I move when I am going to be stripped of most or even half of my hard work . Might as well start a new toon to be with friends and still keep the toon I have in the current server
