Dawnseeker says Maria will be offered sometime again in the future for those who haven't recruited her yet.
i will be playing flash star wars games by then. the one sided buy it all or nothing mentality is rampant in this game.
Despite all its faults, this game is more fair to the non-coiner than any I've seen of this type. Most have items/heroes you can only get if you buy them - non-coiners can't get them at all. Maria is the only hero this game has introduced that requires you to buy. A coiner, or non-coiner can get the same heroes with the exception of her.Quote:

That was a glitch for sure. She was intended to NOT be free. Dawnseeker says that she will most likely be offered again in the future. Have your $5 ready to get her. I'll admit, at first I was really upset about Maria being pay-only, but as time has gone by i've changed my mind. I've played countless games with pay-only content or pay-this-much-only content and i've happily paid it and recieved the awards, or haven't, either way I played and enjoyed the game. The same goes for Maria, buy her, or don't, You can progress just as well without her lol. I've even beat a few of the RA and HR bosses at near "record" powers without her, when the "record" holder uses her. Allowing her or future pay-only items to be bought with gems ruins the spirit of pay-only items. If you want her, pay for her. If you don't want to pay for her, you don't want her that bad lol.
That isn't a terrible idea. That way those who don't want to pay $5 can still get her, but I still must ask others - Who really can't afford $5? I mean seriously, $5 is nothing in any countries standards these days. Starbucks is more expensive for a small coffee. Lunch is 3x that anywhere you eat. $5 gets you less than 1.5 gallons of gasoline in America. Seriously, put away your pride that doesn't allow you to spend money on virtual goods and pay the price for the hero lol.Quote:

there are countries where $5 is a lot of money. not everyone can afford it willy nilly. a heads up when they make maria available would be greatly appreciated by these players in these countries, as they can then budget and plan around buying her if they wanted. but to just put her there, for a week only, is unfair to some players who really want to buy her, but just can not afford it at that moment.
