Give me some ideas, I currently use Chrome and would like to change.
Chrome in my experience was bad on Tynon graphics performance. I switched to Firefox and had a tremendous improvement.
I suspect Chrome's threading model is responsible for the difference, meaning this could be a 'by design' problem that will not be fixed over time.
I really like Opera.
Currently none is good everything takes forever whatever browser you'reon (but I like chrome; firefox is the worst)
Chrome is probably the best due to it's in built flash. However, if Chrome is still giving you problems a similar browser such as Komodo Dragon could work for you.
Safari is dead fast
in order:
1-- (if you remove the built-in Flash) ... Chrome. Otherwise move Chrome to #5
2-- Opera
3-- SeaMonkey
4-- Safari
5-- Firefox
6-- Internet Explorer
I use Chrome with build-in flash and gave no problems.
IE give disconnects where other browsers will not.
Safari is goof but on Windows 8 it hangs on a refresh and you have to use Task manager to kill it and then restart it.
i have used waterfox since day 2,never ever had any problems with it,other than the problems with tynon itself :)
I've used several, however preferred is Avant - auto refresh is nice for when afk for extended periods - if disconnected it isnt too long before it re-connects automatically.
Having said that, Chrome, Comododragon, Opera, and even Firefox all work perfectly well in my experience. I do steer clear of IE tho - it crashes and burns too often for my liking
I use Chrome , earlier i tried Firefox and I.E both had issues while loading . Tried Safari which is a pain on windows 7 , like Andy said we have to kill the browser to relogin or refresh.
Chrome uses a LOT more processor than the other browsers do.
I could only run a few tabs with chrome. IE lets me get all my servers up and running at the same time rather nicely.
Gorgon
Tynon is optimized for Chrome and Firefox. Most browsers should work fine though.
The issue with chrome is, the resolution. It is so low resolution compared to FF or IE. How do I fix this so I can see mroe on a page? I am running 1900 x 1400 and i see it at 800 x 600 when i open tynon on it.
