the previous aphrodite thread seems to merge into this one now and let me try to get this back on track by pasting my previous post ok here it is.
the original thread (much better than this one tbh) started out about aphrodite and being a mage tank is useless. then went to switch skills for bryn and aphrodite and about hitrating. some comparison about shayd and aphrodite. now i hope i have summarized it so far well enough from the on topic stuff. now from back then to today i have to say i dont even use shayd anymore. my aphrodite is awesome with her lv 12 hitrating and for kicks i added lvl 12 burliness, flint and resistance (and no she is not my main tank). IF the battle got close in pvp then she is usually the last one standing. she doing a great job stunning bosses in HR and succeed more often when others fail. also the day i replaced my shayd with aphrodite, my banish damage output increased by another 10%.
to the devs: i would like to see her damage output significantly raised on top of what it already is. think as magic pompei whos disadvantage is already there by missing a lot.
also on another note: bryn needs to start doing real damage, not only will she miss a lot more than smoulder but the targets can resist and if she does hit once in a while, her damage is so insignificant (even in the royal challenge!) that she can be ignored in most forms and is at best an "inconvenience" to the attacker for getting a hero stunned once in a while.

But yes, I agree with you Kaisim. Aphro is a great hero for banish and is an awesome tank. My only wish is if she would not "miss" so much as a top hero when you start t put over 300+ hit on her. With these "misses", I do agree her damage output could be increased 20 - 35% to be at par with Pompei (but not quite as high as Pompei). Pompei has self health deprecation, which does limit how long he can fight. In Banish he self destructs after a certain # of rounds.
BTW off topic, how much more + Def Skill and +Def from a level 12 Flintness and Burliness over lvl 10 rune? And is it worth it?
but that is exactly my point, that IF the misses stay as is and she hit only every 2nd or 3rd round on an average (even with 300+ hitrating) then you can improve her easily on the same damage output as pompei since he almost never misses. yes his HP decreases however you can compensate for that with maria, better gear and runes; but to compensate for aphrodites high miss rate is impossible if not with hitrating.
please note: i am not talking about the chance to stun, thats just another factor that adds up to the poor result
anything helps, especially in pvp. in other words: who cares as long as you can afford it?
