What does predetermined really mean

"predetermined" means nothing other than that at the point of entry the game decides what you get or win and then starts generate the "random" graphics for it.
examples:
- you enter HR and at point of entry the game decides if you win or loose and then generates the battle
- at the you click on spin in tavern it decides if you get a hero or not and at which order of cards you pick up and the other heroes are added as "decoration" next to it (example: "hero from gold group on 2nd card turned over")
- before you click on shuffle in a guild chest, the game has already PREDETERMINED what reward you will get and then generates random cards around it

it has NOTHING to do with rigging the game, that's just paranoia

The bottom line is that the game works the way it is intended to work. Since there is no documentation players assume they know how it is supposed to work and most of the time that assumption is wrong.

I can see that there is no way to convince you otherwise. If you thing that the game is taking advantage of the players then stop playing. No one is forcing you to play the game.

It is. Entirely. Am I fortunate to know better? Yes. It also doesnt effect my enjoyment, in fact I enjoy the fact that I have an edge on most aspects of the game compared to your typical player, but it doesnt change the fact that the devs can say theyre not misleading players, when in fact, if the game is taken the way it is represented, they most definitely are.\

Maybe it's just the APPEARANCE of unexpected outcomes, rather than being truly rigged, but when there are 5 cards to be shuffled, one of which is the desired one, you would expect to get the desired one once in 5 tries. When, after 50 consecutive tries using each of the 5 positions (250 tries) the desired card is NEVER selected, it's kind of hard to deny suspicions of rigging with a straight face, isn't it ? Another example would be the frequency of obtaining the level 1 chip from a Guild Chest with many more desirable items that just never seem to be "randomly" selected.

If a coin is flipped 100 times, and the thing comes up heads every-single-time, we've entered into the Twilight Zone of statistics. If the odds of getting a gold card from the Tavern are actually 1/500 rather than 1/5, then perhaps using an image from the old County Fair "Wheel of Fortune" would avoid misleading people.

(and having belatedly caught the Wiki link, I still stand by my "Wheel of Fortune" suggestion)

hold your horses here. first of all when you spin in tavern it does decide first what card at what point you will get and throw in the others as motivational decoration to make you spin more often. the what you call "cointoss" is done when you click on refresh. the guild chest is about the same but a small difference: its decided before you click. you can actually find out what you get by opening/closing the chest and during the elimination process you will see if you get coins, map, credit, xp, etc
(as i pointed this out in previous posts: on chips and cards it will decide what level/kind you get, not the color in example: it decided you get a gold card but not if you will get bryn, dawn, blood, etc)

There has to be a way around the pre determined prizes, like several players all from the same guild on my server found a glitch in casino. They are able t win the big prizes back to back like 20 times in a row. I took screen shots to prove the prizes they are winning. the prizes I speak of are level 8, 9, 10 gems, skill scrolls, gems, scroll fragments, and hero cards. now what I mean by back to back is like every 3 to 6 seconds a new post coming across screen showing what they have won like 20 times in a row. I have spent well over 20k in chips and not won anything but crappy lvl 1 gems and small credit or coin winnings. these people wh have figured out how to exploit the big prizes in casino have an extreme unfair advantage. As I said for any of you people that will doubt what I say is true, I have screen shots showing the realm chat where it lists the prize won and by whom. Only thing lacking would be a time stamp showing how fast the back to back to back wins are.

Yea, seems there is a way around the pre-determined prizes in the Casino. The players in Triumph on Ra server, who Method is speaking of, are getting like 9 to 10 high level jewels a day to pop up from the Casino. Along with a never ending stream of double hits, cards, 1000 gem hits, and etc... Seems to go beyond just buying large piles of chips. There seems to be some kind of way around winning the level 1 jewels 99 times out of 100 like it normally gives...

please do not post screens here or how this is possible or how you think it happens. please go directly to customer support (and maybe to dawn directly if stanly throws one of his auto answers back at you). this one is important and please! do report

it says image is to large and making it smaller will make it unreadable, i can provide a link to a drop box account that shows about 20 some screen shots showing how bad this really is. I have spent hours and hours daily since this server opened to get where I am at on the server, not being a big spender I was in top 10. It took me a long time to get the lvl gems I saved and crafted (most being lvl5 now). Now with triumph the already most powerful guild where they have all but a few top players and have at least double the active player than all other realms and guilds combined. now they have an exploit that has lvl 8,9 and 10 gems, skill scrolls, scroll frags, big 1000 , 10,000 gems, hero cards raining down on them 20plus deep. I can't compete with this and has me thinking it's time to find a different game to play.
Talking with support 99% of the time is like talking to a brick wall, wait a brick wall is more responsive. I keep attempting to figure the exploit out with no luck thus far. If I do figure it out I will be sure to share with all to somewhat level the playing field again.
