Ok correct me if I am wrong.
If the person with the most bets wins you get less if you bet on that person versus if you bet on the person with fewest bets and that person wins.

That's right. You also get more when you are wrong if you bet the less likely person.

Yes. That is how it should work. Example: 800 bets on Tinhyeu tonight, 200 on Randulf. Got 1000+ tickets after Randulf won.

Ok then if that is the case. I would like pussy riot banned form participating in any future cwfs until someone can actually have a chance at defeating him. Once you have pussy riot as your betting choice you have no choice but to bet on him and only a few people who are hoping to catch him throwing a round will bet on his opponent. SO he will always have the majority of bets. SO you can never get more then 50% of the ticket bet. This also devalues the gem bets.

Basically pussyriot in cwf limits the amount of tickets you can win because no one can beat him. SO this is unfair to the rest of us. He should be banned from participating in CWF until a time comes when somone has at least 75% of his power so they have a chance at beating him. Thereby we can all have a chance to get more tickets.

The point of CW is to see who the best is across a group of servers, the simple fact that we can win tickets by betting on someone, and still get some small amount of tickets even if we lose said bet, is just an extra benefit.

I don't think it's fair to punish someone for being so far ahead of everyone else.

Well see the point of cwf in the US tournament has become how many tickets you can win because we all know pussy will win. SO why should we all get punished because he is so far ahead?

I mean look at this objectively. EVERYONE knows who has the best acct in tynon. SO to say that cwf is to find that out is a farce for the US servers. We alll know pussy has the best acct. And Kudos to him. Im not griping that he has such a great acct and noone can beat him. I stating the fact that because he is so far ahead of everyone that allowing him to compete at this point in CWF hurts everyone else in the US servers. ANd thats not fair or balanced. I mean no one guild is meant to hold all cities. SO why should one acct win all cwfs form her eon out until someone spends about as much as him? Just ban him form participating and we all benefit. A bet on him right now brings in 500 tickets....that's 5500 tickets at the end of the finals. Still a pretty good turn out for tickets....and once those CW stars start adding up, you will see a new champion again. Be patient and let Riot/Blayd have their moment in the spotlight.

Actually hold on... Things could still get interesting after Blayd accumulates a lot of crowns.

and you could be earning 1k tickets per fight

so he is limiting out ticket income pure and simple. Its not right to treat the rest of teh usa players who pay money for this game and have been loyal tynon players to be treated this way

plus remember those stars give him more tickets and not us. SO he will have more tickets to upgrade his acct making those stars more valuable to him then to his opponents who will still lose

Maybe a bit off topic. but an idea I had a while ago was to have auto-betting for those who miss CW (all on attacker if no bet is made). It's quite a big thing to miss out on the rewards, and this helps a bit. The other thing is does, is makes the attacker constantly the bigger bet. We could still maybe get full tickets when PR is defending. Solves 1/4 of your problem...

I do feel that he shouldn't be punished for being strong.

ps. Woot I managed to guess PR would lose that one fight.

Even if pr were banned from cwf, there is no guarantee that people would get more tickets (if you are wrong you will not get very many tickets).

It's not fun to watch, I'm not learning anything, and my chance at any significant ticket income has been destroyed. blayd competing in CW essentially ruins it. It's equivalent to Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps competing in the special olympics... It's just not a competition and no one gains anything from it.

The whole reason you get more if you bet on the underdog and win is so people will watch to see just how well each player is doing. The looser gains 5% attack/defense each loss. It's extremely hard to win all 11 bouts in the final. The 'art' is trying to figure out just when the underdog will win the bout(s) he/she will actually win.

And, the fact that there's one person that happens to be so far ahead of everyone else should have nothing to do with how many tickets one gets. It wasn't all that long ago we didn't even have CWF and the ticket system. It's not our right to get as many tickets as possible, it's something you should be actively engaged in - though from the sidelines. Banning someone because some feel they're not getting the tickets they 'deserve' is kind of selfish, in my opinion. I mean, you get tickets even if you pick the wrong person as the winner.

Ahh but you see teh real point of cwf was to see who the best is. That question has been answered. SO the point now is to get as many tickets as you can. ANd pussy riot skews that drastically. It takes away alot of the fun of cwf.

Lets say you dont make knockouts. And your first knockout fight is pussyriot. Then you are stuck betting on him for the entire cwf. Making it so you cant get the extra tickets if you bet on the underdog and he/she wins. How is that fair to the betters on the side line.

I dont want pussyriot punished - he can be automatically awarded the max tickets and the prizes of 1st place for all i care. I just dont want to have to be forced to bet on him. SO I want him eliminated form the competition, because he has none.

He's saying a lopsided fight like this means people wins less tickets and someone should be banned so these lopsided fights do not occur. Do you agree with that logic?! I hope not. The fights that are close, you also have a higher chance of betting the wrong person and the since the bets will be more even, betting on the right person also means getting less than you would get when you get it right on a lopsided fight. Sure, the potential would be higher. And yes, the bets will be more challenging, but banning someone for being ahead simply because someone feels they are getting less tickets betting on the fight, makes no sense. You can't ban someone on that basis. You have to find other means to bring about more competition. The stars is a start, but definitely more needs to be done.

This is typical mattp. When he feels it is something that doesn't affect him, he'll tell people to suck it up and "live with the cards you are given." When he feels it does affect him (however small that may be or something no one else would complain about) he will scream foul and ask for things to change for his favor while ignoring how his demand will unfairly punish others.

Ahh so i see you just think betting on pussyriot constantly is fun. Well i think its boring. I have been against cwf since the initial idea was announced. I am still against it cuz the concept is idiotically setup.

CWF is probably the reason I'm still playing. I agree that the betting is no fun... which is why I want autobets so I don't need to stay up in order to not miss out in all the rewards, but being able to fight against people outside my server is.

BTW Drth, I didn't say these lopsided fights are fun to watch or bet on. My point is, just because a fight is lopsided is not justification enough to ban someone. uCool does need to work on CW and find ways to widen the field and I've edited my post to mention that.

I agree with you that betting on that fight was boring. And I agree that CW setup is not good. I just don't agree with the banning part. Perhaps you just said that part out of frustration. Maybe they should have setup multiple "weight classes" for CW - and just by server age is not enough (Riot/Blayd is proof of that). Maybe simply by power and lower weight class tournaments give smaller/lower rewards. This still gives incentive for the real competitive coiners to power up, while also giving reasons for smaller players to coin. It will make CW relevant to a larger group of players, rather than the same small group. But that still doesn't solve the lopsided fights at the top class. Maybe the star penalty needs to be higher.

To be honest Matt, the whole banning thing is way too harsh and I wouldn't agree to it.

That said the whole set up with CWF is a farce. We can all pretty guess who'll win it before the event even begins. Across all 3 divisions there are approximately 5 actual contenders for the title and once a champ wins it once, he/she will win it infinite because the rewards give their accounts a tremendous boost. I'm sorry to say the removal of the handicaps and its replacement system will do nothing to liven it up and broaden the potential winner spectrum. It says a lot when Noble Lady holds more excitement then the CWF final.

CWF gives us nothing but tickets now and that's all I personally see it as these days. There's no nail biting finales or surprise winner. It's boring, plain and simple.

Well done to all champs anyway :).

Agree Rocco.

The way to widen the field is for others to get good and stop whining you are getting your butt handed to you.

What can anyone say? This Matt boy/girl wants tynon to keep penalizing the best player so he can get more hand outs. More tickets from "betting" and more "excitement. I suggest you get a Girl Friend if you want to get excited.

Betting is gambling. You want to bet on a sure thing? You get less odds. Go to the races, or las vegas. Go bet on the favorite and see what odds you get.

You should be lucky you get anything. All you are doing is pressing a button.

Personally I still think this problem is solved at-least more significantly if Tynon followed by original suggestion...prevent top 8 from competing for the next 2 CWs with a 20% boost in their ticket rewards for those 2 CWs It turns it into a bit more of a competition. We'd probably see a lot more people take interest and become competitive.

Drth used an example to make a statement. You on the other hand were being directly personal and nasty.

My issue is with the system. If I make the right bet and bet on the winner my winnings should not be cut in half just because everyone else made the right bet too. I do agree it gets a bit boring when the same person wins over and over. No matter how much I play I will never win since they are still playing and growing as well. Knowing that going in simply makes cw about the 1800 free tickets plus the little bit I got for the wins. Once I am out I really don't bet.

Leave morgan alone, I will discipline her if it called for, and in this case its not. She is doing a perfect job as a MOD. The only person so far that has been rude is you, explorer. I suggested that pussy riot just be given the rewards form first place and all the tickets that goes with it and him being removed/banned form CWF. This does not punish him in anyway. it makes his life easier and rewards him for being teh biggest spender. He gets to not even worry about cwf and gets all the benefits of winning it. What more can ya give the guy. He can sleep while others fight it out for teh tickets and rewards he gets for doing nothing. ANd most of us wouldnt even care if that happened. BUt I will explain further after the man himself responds

I miss the gold old days when two of us would duke it out in cw and the matches were hairline close. Now I just join and collect my tickets and spirit plan; I rarely even work form in cw anymore, what's the point?

I miss the gold old days when two of us would duke it out in cw and the matches were hairline close. Now I just join and collect my tickets and spirit plan; I rarely even work form in cw anymore, what's the point?

Then we should address this issue. Ticket amount when you win. Why "ban" anyone?
This "ban" concept is what is ridiculous and outrageous. It is also ridiculous to penalize the top player who spent the money and the resources because he is "too good". Maybe Tynon can refund him the money and change all the rules and take away from what the game was originally designed to do. I think unless they start to give refunds, massive changes targeting 1 player is the most unfair thing I have heard. All because of 2 - 3 pissed off jealous people who are hurt they cant get more tickets and prizes.

Be realistic. Go play against Le Brons on 1 on 1 basketball. Then go complain its not fair. Every way you look at this, the thread should be closed.

I never said penalize him. I have said multiple times that he should be banned BUT get all the rewards for 1st place and get the max ticket payout possible. How is that penalizing him? Its not. Its giving him an additional advantage over everyone else.
