+1 to Herby & matt's ideas here
well here's the thing.
I think we all agree on 2 concepts
1. feeds hould be unlimited
2. that it should cost more to get a dragon to level 15 then a white horse.
The way it is now, It cost more by being more exp per level for a dragon vs a horse.
Herby's complete suggestion make sit cost more not only by experience and coins-
The problem with the way it is now is that even with the experience of a white horse it takes 53 years of 5 feedings a day to get to 15.
SO if you remove the feeding limit you can significantly speed that up, but you are still limited by your income.
But just doing unlimited feeds still makes the dragon unreasonable.
So lets Keep It Simple
Unlimited feeds make sit easier and limits progress by income.
reducing the exp needed overall significantly is needed to be able to level a mount up in a reasonable time frame.
Making different mounts cost different amounts would only be needed if the experience is not scaled low enough.
SO I think Herby and I are both on the right track with our 2 similar ideas. But its too complicated. We need a more simplistic idea
That makes leveling up a dragon reasonable in time, but not make the white horse too easy.
And makes the gains from more equivalent base don amount invested. SO 100m coins invested in a dragon is better then investing 100m coins in a bear or rhino.
The problem is... it's exponential with only linear returns. Changing it from x2 each time, to x1.5 or 1.2, etc, would drastically lower the time needed if that's what they want.
I do not agree that feeding should be unlimited. It will make it too easy for some one with the ability to get coins to star up a mount, and therefore promoting the use of Alts. I do believe that more feeding should be allowed without having to spend Gems. Perhaps it could be a combination of more daily feedings at the current cost per feed (enough som that you could reach 15 stars in a reasonable but not necessarily short amount of time, a year or two for example) and if you want to be able to do do more feedings in a day the cost per feeding would double for every subsequent set with the sers becoming increasingly smaller.
For example, increase the daily feedings and reduce the requirements so that you can reach 15 stars on a Dragon in 2 years by doing 20 feedings a day at the current cost of a feed. If you want to do more feedings, the next 10 would each be double the cost of each of the first twenty. The five after that each be double of the prior ten. The next two after that double of the five, The one after that double of the prior 2. From then on the cost of each feeding would continue to double from the cost of the prior one for the next 10. The the ten after that it would quadruple from the prior one. and there would be no more feedings allowed after that that day.

Ok lets look at this
with the current EXP for a white horse and 1m per feed
it costs 100b coins to get a white horse to 15 stars
and a dragon costs 818b coins
SO even if you could farm 10 really nice alts a day and get 2b gold coins a week
it would take 1 year of not doing any black smith or runes to get a white horse to 15 stars and 7.8 years for a dragon
Your reason of having unlimited feeds is invalid at these costs, both coins and exp needed.
A lot of good ideas here.
However, the mounts can fairly easily over power this game to a point where all heroics and royal challenges becomes too easy. Given that the mounts with buffs were added with no change to the current heroics or royal challenges leaves potential for other changes if it becomes too easy to get to higher stars
Unless this game scales differently; and all heroics and royal challenges are changed to be comparable to the HP gains at the 9+ star ranking, making it easier to obtain higher stars may be a devil in disguise.
Thus, accepting the fact that the current HP gains from mounts with no change to the heroics and royal challenges, it would not scale properly if starring up the mounts were made easier.
This requires much more thinking - about the entire game balance if mount experience or changes are made.
This is a valid point to a degree.
But i think you over value HP like many players do. It adds alotto your total power but doesnt help as much as some think.
Also without a change or even with the changes herby or I suggest, getting to 10+ stars takes a lot of work, money or sacrifice of runes/black smith
I would like to be able to feed both my bear and my dragon x5 per day. Right now, if I want to feed Dragon it puts me at a disadvantage for about half a year while other people level up their bears. If I only feed my bear, then eventually I will want a dragon or be faced at a disadvantage versus people with dragons. I should have the option to spend coins on both Bear and Dragon x5 per day, allowing me to build up my bear right now while investing in a Dragon for the future.
