can anyone post a real formation for this quest line boss called tomb of dragon king plz.
im really tired coz tried everything for 10 days , 100+ attempts/day , not getting close to kill him. boss is at 174m power im at 116m, ppl with much lower power got hm with no problems. I asked several ppl guildies and friends, no one had any sort of problem with him but me :@
ill suggest the game give u a pass on a quest if u fought him over 1000 times , u get a msg saying: u have reached the max attempts on this boss , and the boss dies :P
u have a chance to watch fights in heroic bosses and unlocking heroes, why there is non in quests?
my biggest issue with this boss is that i cant see his thousand strikes skill so cant see what damage it does to know if i have to change my form...im not to far off but this skill is being a pain...ill try and get it done and post what for i used, but would also appresiate if anyone have an already working for or some idea how much the dragons skill does.
edit: on a side not it seems to be over in way less rounds then normal fights...like 15 or less...
need help to kill this guy , having major problem with the 2 socerers dealing magic dmg and each fight they choose random position to hit , if they hit the same place then i would know how to solve my problem , but every time they are hitting different hero, so any formation or clue how to take this annoying quest boss down , i'm on this quest for 12 days now , 100+ attempts/day , total attempts 1200 + :@

my main problem is the 2 socereres dealing magical dmg , they hit randomly , they dont hit the same place , they choose random 2 of my heroes, and deals huge dmg.
i tryed to inforce my magical defence by adding messinece rune to all heroes , it didnt work too , they still do high dmg , knowing my "third eye" talent isnt that low
ok what the minimum magic defense needed to avoid all these magical dmg? what minimum talent points needed on "third eye" talent? any idea ?

What heroes, talents, equip levels, runes, skills, etc.
from what i can tell right after the dragon king does its thousand strikes it goes out of battle...after that u survive 1-2 rounds and its over...rly got no idea what to do since the dmg of the thousand skill dosnt show dmg if it even does any...this boss just ???s me >.<
edit: ok so hes still in battle just ending anyway...im not even close to killing them all in the 8-10 rounds lasting, did everyone pre patch glitch this so nobody knows? theres so many that glitched this and have what they would have no chance to get now its rly sad to see :/

mage-mage-melee subs are melees
with some help from older server i came to try cianna-blood-penth // x-x-x / x-herja-main and bryn as sub.
this took away the defeat from the bosses full stamina but i still cant kill the adds after i downed the boss, so not sure if this is the best setup or if i just lack a bit of stats since this setup makes me rest my highest stared and strongest heroes like adam,theseus,alci
edit: the 2 mages are bryn types and in general hit 2-3 heroes for around 45k dmg but dosnt stun often...most my gear is lvl 40-55 with higher spirits

tryed same form u did with cianna , i managed to kill boss fast enough to move to adds , but as i mentioned top , the mages dealing high dmg , if they hit same hero twice its dead.
asked guildies and friends who killed him they all have almost same magic def talent i have and even lower blacksmith lvls , they all had zero trouble with this boss, but that was the 1st days of the quest line release, question is : does this boss got over powered lately? if no , what am i missing to have hard time to pass 50% of this boss? how to avoid these mage's dmg? im sure my heroes r doing great on boss and the melee adds , like queen pent is surviving by tanking boss and 1 melee add ( top and mid lanes) but the 2 mages r unbelievable.
well what i saw when checking your stats is many of your heroes is even under 100k hp...we are evenly powerd and my heroes are 120-150k and takes atleast 3 hits...alci takes like 6 mag hits, maybe the hp is whats missing for you...whats missing for me im still unsure about :p
@ Kejsarandreas , my hp goes 145-120 , even if i survive the magical dmg , like andreas said before , boss is glitching when he is at 100%+ moral , boss disappears fight is over .
I managed to kill 2 adds and got boss 60% , then it glitched, fight ending while i still have 4 heroes still alive .... im pretty sure this is bugged and need to be fixed ASAP
both those forum names are mine just forgets what one im logged into sometimes :p...ahh ok cuz when i was on server 4 and checked ure stats it showed lower hp, only main was high so i figured maybe thats why your heroes died fast...most my heroes takes 3 mage hits and dies to 4th but i still cant manage it yet, tho i will give it a shot after baal and see if it cant be done in some way, and yea if its a bug so we can just tank boss while killing adds it would be rly sweet :)

problem is my maria only heals for 29k so cant hold them up forever but it seems like it will work if u got a stronger maria
with no rhize , no adam , no blood , no lanc who's gonna dmg boss+7 adds , minimum hp of adds is 2m ?
not sure pent , jenkiz and main ( all single target dmgers ) can handle the 14m hp adds and 4 m hp boss without hitting the max rounds , but GL hope u find a way.
btw all my friends and guildies done it the week it was released no1 had this problem , we are all in almost same range of power and def and heroes , im asuming this bug happened after release by short time
well khan crits around 200k and penth aswell calvin a bit lower at 100ish...its not fast but it should be doable...working to get marias m-atk up now to test (transfered her stars and sancts ages ago)
I dont suppose any of you remember formations used to defeat the dragon sorcerers on the way to the boss, beat them in the previous quest, but cant get past the first here :(
i just connected to a Moderator , he/she explained me whats going om here, every one who has the judgment spirit crafted now killed this dragon boss when it was at low power, ( he/she mentioned something about pre-patch ) and after short time this boss got impowerd and got huge change in technique and power, for those who havn't kill him when it was at low power they are unlucky , and they have to gain like 30-50 million power so they compete it, i asked the Moderator how is this fair , i got a reply saying its not . !!!!
so guys i say deal with it its not the games fault its ur fault , u have to rush to kill bosses before they get more power . (correct me if i'm wrong )
did this quest boss got some changes ? coz i see no moral anymore for the boss, and its not glitching anymore, but instead i see more power , it was 174m power now got 183m ?
the boss was single target damage and now he is non-stop AoE damaging? we were having enough trouble with the 2 mages doing AoE dmg and we have to deal with 3rd mage (boss) now?
is there any note on the forum to read about changes info related to this boss?

Its fair since people who didn't rush to finish quests can have multiple shots at 100 gems. So average people that rushed are losing out 200-400 gems. I really regret rushing through. Seriously, judgment spirits suck compared to that many gems. They haven't done anything for me.
take all my gems and give me this mat lol , spirit upgrade is the most important upgrade of all gear m8, reminding u the + set bonus ...
i wish i can upload a video of the fight so yall see how impossible is to take down this boss, my 90% of shots crited , 80% shots dodged and blocked still got him down to 60%, my adam , rhize , genkiz , general alch , criting 250k dmg + each time , queen bryn stuning 2-4 adds , but lots of AoE magical dmg from the 2 mages , as if those 2 have hit rating 500 or something :P
Any1 beat him yet with new mage boss?
I've been stuck here for almost 3 weeks now... This quest boss has indeed changed, and is now a mage (no morale bar). The only person on our server to pass this quest did so before the change. Any help/advice would be most appreciated.
welcome to the club, same here , almost 1 month , they recently added some changes to this boss it got worse ...
The top 6 on my server has been stuck for weeks on this boss as well. Hey, but it's okay. We need a challenge. We need to think our way through those problems.
agree challenge is exiting , but let it be fair at least, why some ppl 1 shot it , and others have to challenge ? XD

Perhaps leveling resist/nimble runes on all chars to 11 might help.
why resistance when 4 out of 5 are mages?
boss has 4 million hp , all rest adds have 2 million hp each.
A.- start with damage done:
queen pent crits ~225k dmg
adam crits ~225k
main crits ~225k
how many rounds u need to take down the 1st mage?
lets say u crit 100 % it takes u 3 rounds to kill 1st mage ,(225k x 3 heroes x3 rounds = 2m dmg +) the melee sub jumps in , again u crit another 3 rounds dealing 2 million dmg , 2nd sub melee jumps in , same story u crit 3 more rounds for 2 million dmg , comes the turn of the mage #2 , lets say 2 more rounds u cleared all adds , and now u r facing boss 2-3-4 rounds he is down.
3 rounds to kill mage#1
3 rounds for melee sub #1
3 rounds for melee sub #2
2 rounds for all rest adds ( mage#2 melee #1 and melee #2 )
3 rounds for boss
~ 15 rounds fight. (u r superman and u crit 100%)
~ 25 rounds if u crit 65%
25 round fight = 50-70 hit damage taken
B.- damage taken:
in boss formation order:
mage1 hits all 5
melee1 hits 1
mage2 hits all 5
boss hits all 5
melee2 hits 1
untill u kill 1st mage , adam, main ,herja will be attacked by boss and 2 mages 3 times ,3x3= 9 hits , till u reach round 9 adam, herja ,main will take 3x9 = 27 hits, (not counting queen pent and genkiz how many hits gonna take coz they heal up)
Q1.- name me a hero can miss dodge resist block parry avoid 23 hits out of 27 hits.
if hero is at 180k hp take 4-5 hits (each hit 40k dmg)
Q2.- queen and jenkiz can ? which herja can survive all those 27 hit AoE dmg to moral up queen and jenkiz?
bottom line after 4-5 rounds all heroes are dead , only queen and genkiz surviving 2-3 more rounds , 6-7 rounds is not enough to take down 6 adds and boss total of 16 million hp ,this quest is going nowhere they need to reconsider this fight big time , 1 week earlier it was easier coz boss was single target damager now its AoE , i was having bad time handling the mages , coz boss was handled by queen pent, now we have 3 out of 5 hitting all ur heroes
I like the new AOE boss damage.
This makes us think of a way to beat the boss w/o relying too much on Queen Penth and Khan, which has become a boring and unimaginative strategy.
I suggest you don't use either QueenP or Khan.
Instead, use high damage heroes with magic resistance, like Scipio, Pompey or KT.
Use Maria also.
Lol if you're already crying at this boss, you'll absolutely be in pain once you meet Malmepholis and his twin.
if u power up ur heroes with some magic resist ur gonna avoid 27 magic hits? (scroll up for explanation why 27 hits )
and i have messiness lvl 9s on all heroes , and using pompey and genral alci already have 50% magic resist talent passive, same like herja 40% and queen pant , just do some math ...
