well this new arena is total crap i'd rather go back to the old arena or at the least have the choice on which arena you want to be in.Plus they totally screwed up heavens palace. we used to set it up so that even the lower powered players with a boost could get the 100. But now it's like a monkey screwing a football while drunk & blindfolded.:mad:Quote:

I think half the problem is this was all forced on an unwilling population who liked it how it was. I personally didn't ask for bigger Arena rewards and I'm not too keen on this either. We as a guild played the Arena and did our best to be competitive-now that was fun. We chose to help each other out and we battled.
As for HP it gave the smaller players a chance to 'win' at something and gain some much needed rewards, which in turn helped them grow.

Simple and Easy....Delete the new arena system and leave the old arena happy. this one can be so annoying especialy when you have enemies that are stronger than u and that will keep farming every single thing in ur arena ( Chest,Coins, Credits,Gems,leadercards,exp) Sharing them with Guildmates are way better than some haters take them and u don't even get half it.
I really suggest this system gets removed as soon as possible or really people will flame about it so badly.
Matt I'm here to play a game to chat, to have fun and help out my guildies. I am not here to micro manage my account and spend half my bleeding life in the Arena defending stakes, it's tedious and time consuming. Not to mention boring. If you like the Arena, awesome but not everyone does.
I can't go and play HR if I got good stakes or gems. Cerb and Baal is a nightmare. This is why I dislike it, it's not the pvp or the farming it's interfering with my enjoyment of other parts of the game.
I'm not sure whether to agree with Morgan or mattp, because they both bring up good points.
Like I tell my own server ..... "well, at least you get more rewards for the chaos"
I am sure things will turn out to be a 1 share only for the stakes eventually.
This will calm down the farming much.
You can opt out of UA if you drop below place 10 or just stay close to a guildmember.
There might be other players in your realm who won't mind the farming and love the rewards from ranking.
You can also just drop a few places and be surrounded by people who can't beat you.

For you the rewards of doing HP are peanuts, but for each statue you beat you gain credits and coins.
After each level you get a shuffle.
The last two shuffles often contain cards.
These rewards are great for the majority of the field and a lot of help.
It is a big event on server 8 that is enjoyed by all on the server, because finally the lower and mid powers have a chance to actually succeed.
It keeps moral high, activity healthy and on our server we actually have a great ambience due to cooperation instead of dog eat dog.
To each there own of course, but the players feel very much helped and have enough competition on other areas to learn through doing and determination.
In case anyone has not noticed, you are now being charged for your daily upkeep at full cost regardless of whether you logged in that day and earned the upkeep earlier or not. I'm keeping track of my rep for the next upgrade as are others in my guild. The increased rep rewards from this new arena do not offset the cost of the daily requirement being charged now that was not charged before. I just refreshed twice to verify that the upkeep was charged and I was online yesterday for the patch and the increased rep from Ultimate Arena. Looks like Tynon believes there are too many Generals in the Army and they want to make sure Marshalls stay to a quiet few.
Ok to every server that rigs HP. You are deluding the smaller players and giving them something for nothing. Basically you use HP as a welfare system. Sorry but thats how it is. If your server wants to do that fine. But I think its silly. Its one thing to ask some super powerful player to make his/her form easier to deal with, but to have the whole server power down is welfare. And to me your not really helping the smaller players. And you want to help them but you want to be more powerful then them at the same time. Makes little sense to me. But to each their own. Im just expressing my opinion. Not trying to say you are all worng, but do 100% disagree with the concept of powering all or most of the server statues in HP. I mean if its PBR's server and he chooses to not put subs in or something cuz lets face it, noone can beat him, thats one thing. I just prefer haviing challenges in the game.
Morgan - what micro managing? - there are 3 good stakes to really worry about - 100 gems 1k gems and leader cards. I can see how that could be annoying if you get 1 of those rare stakes and your surrounded by either asshats or people who dislike you. But they are rare. leader cards and 1k stakes show up about 1 maybe 2 a month on a server. 100 gems maybe 10-20 times a month on a server. The other stakes are small pickings. SO you miss out of a mushroom during banish, you will get more. Even with sharing chests and getting 100% of my chests not taken form me in old arena I have manage to get the mats for 1 sirius spirit and half for another and 1/3 the mats for a sirius sword. Boo has crafted 3 but more people share iwth him and he makes it a point to share other people's chest more then I do. Most on server 1 have maybe 1 spirit crafted if they are lucky or are still collecting the chests for their 1st. I dont really think the chests in arena were suppose to provide you with so many mats you could craft items that would be other wise uncraftable. They were just intended to make it easier. The coins exp and credits, especially for a player of your size and caliber are no that much that if you only get half all day long its gonna make much if any difference to you. I think many are making mountains out of molehills.
