Morgan - what micro managing? - there are 3 good stakes to really worry about - 100 gems 1k gems and leader cards. I can see how that could be annoying if you get 1 of those rare stakes and your surrounded by either asshats or people who dislike you. But they are rare. leader cards and 1k stakes show up about 1 maybe 2 a month on a server. 100 gems maybe 10-20 times a month on a server. The other stakes are small pickings. SO you miss out of a mushroom during banish, you will get more. Even with sharing chests and getting 100% of my chests not taken form me in old arena I have manage to get the mats for 1 sirius spirit and half for another and 1/3 the mats for a sirius sword. Boo has crafted 3 but more people share iwth him and he makes it a point to share other people's chest more then I do. Most on server 1 have maybe 1 spirit crafted if they are lucky or are still collecting the chests for their 1st. I dont really think the chests in arena were suppose to provide you with so many mats you could craft items that would be other wise uncraftable. They were just intended to make it easier. The coins exp and credits, especially for a player of your size and caliber are no that much that if you only get half all day long its gonna make much if any difference to you. I think many are making mountains out of molehills.

I agree 100%.

Those who say they want to power down HP "for the small players" are just getting an ego trip for the control and power they wield over others. That, and they want their alts to get more resources lol.

They might also be:
- Socially inclined
- Seeing different ways of warfare
- Dominant
- Looking for different challenges
- Helping to keep a server alive
- Listening to requests being made
- Flexible
- Communicative
- Creative
- Able to understand multiple perspectives
- Able to see multiple groups of people play the game and have different needs
- Enablers
- Involved
- Leaders
- Able to share
- Organizers
- Chatty
- Happy :)

And so on.
People are so versatile ^^.

*There is no need to try and insult those who have different views.

Sounds like we should go back to the 5 durability lost per win in battles in GW's then if you believe this is welfare?

You should have ended your post with "Let them eat Cake!"... or in this case due to the date, "Let them eat Peeps!" :D

If you want to bring up politics and such things as Welfare and the evils of Socialism vs. the wonderful benefits of Capitalism, go elsewhere to discuss it. We want to enjoy our game and discuss the changes we're noticing in the latest patch.

To players who don't want to be farmed.. just come to an non-farming agreement on your server. Something much easier done than said even lol.

Hey in evony there used to be no capture servers - you could suz only. Maybe they need to make non farming servers here on tynon to make people happy. Maybe practice only servers. Let the arena spots be randomized daily. NO pvp period. every one gets 1k gem stakes every day. oh and every player has a dev on call to make any necessary changes to their game to make it the perfect game for them.

jeez, you know folks, someone taking your piddly little 2,000 credits in Arena really doesn't constitute as farming. Like others have pointed out, if you are seriously bothered by this, you should never, ever, ever play Evony. Now, that game has farming. Brutal and frustrating. But people really can't farm you very much in this game.

My own judgement on the Arena change...not really a whole lot different, and probably actually better for a lot of people....the rewards are higher for lower ranks. Stay out of the top 5 and nobody will farm you. And if you are in the top 5 on a server....really what are you crying about? You must be pretty damn strong.

be careful what you wish for, most wont even see the sarcasm in it and think "great idea".

anyhow, i remember dawn posting a while back about heavens palace and that they are thinking about implementing a more fair system for lower players being able to finish the event, coz where is the point in trying when you already know you cant get past silver...
i am so far only one on our server who can finish, got a cianna and a shayd from it in crystal and rune palace. got lucky, am happy. for lower players its just another hour they wont spend in front of the screen playing tynon and will look for something else.

Excellent point. WE ARE FORCED TO DEAL WITH BULLIES WE HAVE BLOCKED AND DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH! Tynon has dropped drastically in the rankings of online games and this patch as they call it has made it drop even more. I realize most probably wont understand that unless they actually follow gaming as an industry but the bottom line is Tynon's popularity just tanked even more.

It is a shame too, this game had so much potential.

The fact that they have no security on accounts or blocking of creating alts after alts after alts
The fact that they do force things on players such as this patch
The fact that they have no moderation in game itself to kick out the bullies

These are just a few reasons for the tank in popularity. I understand now why other game publishers refuse to publish Tynon.

I think half the problem is this was all forced on an unwilling population who liked it how it was. I personally didn't ask for bigger Arena rewards and I'm not too keen on this either. We as a guild played the Arena and did our best to be competitive-now that was fun. We chose to help each other out and we battled.

As for HP it gave the smaller players a chance to 'win' at something and gain some much needed rewards, which in turn helped them grow.

You may think that but others don't. Whatever you do on server 1 is fine-that's what you guys do. The other servers find it an excellent way to upkeep morale and activity. I'm just sorry you don't see it that way.

Why should I help every everyone craft their Sirius spirit. It is micro managing because I'm having to check at least 30mins to see what I got coming up. I do not have time for this, the Arena is starting to take over the game and it isn't making it 'fun' it's a nuisance. I have lost decent items like medals to this system, I'm not rich and I can't afford to coin all the time. Small stakes I couldn't care less about.

If you are big enough this doesn't effect you hardly at all. Which is why all the large players are enjoying it so much. For the middle ranked, it's tiresome and annoying. I can't change with anyone not in the top 10 in the Realm because no one wants to go up in to the UA and I wouldn't put them through this torment anyway. I have never said do away with it completely just have it as an optional event. Everyone would be happy then.

Put the stinking Arena back the way it was, you merged us with a dominant alliance that take everything thanks, now you throw our only way to advance in the arena into their mercy....bloody criminal....bloody joke put it back the way it was, give us a chance................................
