New patch - 18-April-2014

If you're not one of the top 30/50 of the server, then the Ultimate Arena doesn't apply to you, and you have no business complaining here.

If you're part of the top 30/50 of the server, then look at the mechanics and the new techniques the Ultimate Arena presents. Learn those, perfect them, and take advantage of them before the other players do.

It definitely is not your walk in the park old realm arena now. It takes skill, patience, and knowledge to advance your ranking, and stay at that ranking.

Love the patch, thanks guys! It was a very good idea to allow multiple sharing instead of increasing the stakes value to something worth fighting over.

I don't think it was intended. Far to open for abuse, already seen it with a Leader Card.

I tried testing this out on my server, multiple sharing does not work in UA on 86.

getting a score of 100 gives you a card for sure which is quite good i have gotten leader cards as well.

Just noticed something weird. Arena rankings don't move with UA rankings. That means if you are top 5 in arena, you are in UA for good. If you are 6-10 in arena, you might be jumping in and out of UA if people beat you. Even if you become top in UA, someone could switch spots with you.

Just refreshed for GW and much to my surprise I had patch notes in the mail and notification that a new server was opening.

Finally note that players ranked 11-50 in the arena are still ranked 11-50 in the arena and do not get access to the ultimate arena, in which case the rewards are the same as before.

Although the new system seems to discourage multiple realms at first look, it actually does encourage players to spread out between the realms more equally. Why? Because if you cannot maintain the top 10 in your realm, you have greater incentives to spread to other realms now, that even ranks 20-30 in UA give much more rewards than ranks 6-10 did before. The ultimate conclusion is that in almost all servers, regardless of realm balance, daily reward arenas have been increased for the vast majority of players.

Well all asked for better arena rewards, and well, we got it!
Also MattP and Herby asked for a second arena where all players can duke it out and we got that too, sorta...

Don't speak for "ALL" because we "ALL" did not ask for better rewards. Also just because 2 "pay to win" players ask for something you saying the rest have to suffer ?
