i have level 12 critical rune on all my damage dealers. recently i expanded from a lv 9 preciseness (+140 hit) to a level 11 (+180) and now finally to a 12 on my adamanti and also finally got my pompeys crit rune to level 12 (+180) and hit preciseness to 11. now i have to add that on my sanct's for pompey i have been able to add 3x +15 and 1x +14 crit (= +59 crit). with the level 12 crit he now started to throw crits on banishes (maybe he has before but because i constantly restart i have not noticed until recently).
on my adamanti after i increased the precisness to 12 i noticed that he crits a lot more than before, or at least it seems so. it increased in pvp so drastically that i was wondering if hitrating and critical are related. now hear me out first, i am not saying he is throwing more crits because he doesnt miss or misses less. i am saying i have seen an increase in the crits since i raised the hit rune to 12 and he hasnt missed before. i dont know the formulas used for the in-game mechanics to calculate damage, crits, misses, etc and i think that in the formula to calculate the chance to crit is also hitrating included (other than just hit and miss).
did you guys have a similar experience, does anyone know the in-game formulas to calculate damage, crit, etc...? maybe someone has done some field testing (yes i am looking at you herby! ;) ) and would like to share his experience with us.
